Should have fouled the second time when they had no time left on the clock and we didn't , but fouled when they had 7.3 second left against Derozan? Luckily he missed the FT...still, makes no sense.
I have no problem with fouling, but you don't foul Derozan right away(an elite ft shooter),You either wait till he passes it out and/or wastes a few seconds, or you just allow him to try to make a contested three. He is not a guy you should be afraid of making a contested game winning three.
The odds of us missing a free throw or committing a turnover are too big of a risk.
This was a ridiculously bad call by the coaching staff and it's somewhat scary. A Euroleague final was lost that way and there was much less time on the clock...just saying.
