- Feed the Brazillian! Cavs are 29-1 (over 3 seasons) when Anderson Varejao scores over 14 points

-The Cavaliers have won eight in a row heading into Friday night's meeting with the Spurs at the AT&T Center, where they'll try to earn a fourth straight victory.

- The Spurs (42-28) can't be too thrilled to see Cleveland with a healthy James. They've lost seven of eight in the regular-season series, and the Cavaliers are looking to join Boston as the only teams to win four straight at San Antonio since 2000.

- This will be the fourth in a brutal five-game stretch for the Spurs that concludes Sunday in Boston. San Antonio followed an overtime loss at Atlanta on Sunday with a win the next night in Oklahoma City, but scored 35 second-half points in a 92-83 home defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.

- James has averaged 30.7 points in the last three wins in San Antonio. He had 30 points and 14 rebounds in a 97-86 victory there Feb. 27, 2009, a game Duncan and Ginobili both missed.

One more nugget on the guy: He's on pace to average at least 30 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, something Oscar Robertson did five times and Michael Jordan did most recently in 1988.

Throw your hands in the sky, jigga
I'm stickin' ice picks on the tip of ya dick
We got Jamison, and all we gave away was a draft pick?
Am I hard hard core, harder than a Plymouth
It ain't no myth, it's a playa with a splif
I hear you hating, man that's all lies
Like centers, I stretch 'em to the 3 point line
Baby mamas askin if that's my baby, huh?
I tell em "Nah, that child's black and I'm from Lithuania!"

Here's your NumbersDon't preview:

Game Preview – Friday March 26, 2010 – Cleveland Cavaliers @ San Antonio Spurs

The Cavaliers continue to roll, as they are now winners of their last 8 games, and 14 of their past 15. During these past 15 games, they are 3-0 vs. the Western Conference, 11-1 vs. the East. They are 2-0 vs. New Orleans, 3-0 vs. Detroit, and 2-0 vs. Boston. They are 5-1 vs. the Central Division. They have held 13 of their 15 opponents to under 100 points, 10 of them under 95, and 3 of them under 90. They have 10 100 point games of their own, and their wins have come by an average of 12.5 points. Their only loss was a 7 point loss, without LeBron James, to a playoff contending team, while committing 17 turnovers.

The Cavaliers made it 8 wins in a row with a 105-92 victory over the New Orleans Hornets. The Clevelanders held a 4 point lead at the half, but outscored the Hornets 35-23 in the 3rd to break the game open. LeBron James went 15-22 from the field for his 38 points, to go along with his 6 rebounds, and 9 assists, while J.J Hickson delivered another terrific performance, shooting 9-11 for his 6th 20 point game of the season, as he grabbed 9 boards to go with it. Delonte West came off the bench, and delivered again, scoring 15 points on 7-11 shooting, while Antawn Jamison chipped in with his 6th double double as a Cavalier, with 11 points, 11 rebounds, & 3 assists.

San Antonio is coming off a 9 point home loss to the Lakers, a game in which the Spurs led by 7 at the break, but the Lakers outscored them 51-35 in the 2nd half to pull away for the win. San Antonio was led by Manu Ginobili & George Hill, as they combined for 45 points (24 and 21 respectively), 8 rebounds (4, 4), 6 assists (2, 4), and 6-12 from homerun range (4-9, 2-3). The rest of the team shot 29% (including 2-15 from downtown), as Ginobili & Hill combined for 54.2% of San Anton’s points.

View it in its entirety.

There's been a few new posts since the last game preview, so make sure you check them out, leave some love, and spread the word!

Cam takes a look at how LeBron has his fingerprints all over the NCAA Tournament.

In the latest Wednesday Q&A, Cam looks at which officials give the Cavaliers the best shot at a win.

While Chief welcomes Z back on behalf of all of us.

And don't forget to check out all the older posts as well, even a 2nd time, as they are well worth it..

The 1st installment of the Weekly Recap is up, courtesy of myself.

While Cam looks at the Cavaliers racking up wins in the Central Division over the past 6 seasons.

Also, as usual, if you have any suggestions, complaints, compliments, questions, or just want to chat about the blog, you can do so in the NumbersDon't thread.

Baby gooseneck is the best thing ever.

Hack a Shaq 5 seconds into a game.....that shit was funny as hell. Especially when Pop did the thumbs up.:chuckles:

Having moved away from Cleveland 25 years ago, this will be the first Cavs game I actually get to see live. I'm sitting here on a balcony at a restort in Austin overlooking beautiful Lake Travis, deer in the woods below by the shoreline, room service on the way. I've just got to say life is good.

Salt Lick barbeque for lunch on the way to SA, a hotel on the riverwalk, and a game that ESPN has rated at 50-50 - two playoff teams in the month of March. Man, it doesn't get any better than this! :king:

The only resort I know of that overlooks Lake Travis is the Nude Beach Resort. I should know as I use to live there. Life must be good. :chuckles:

This is my annual Cavs-Spurs trip. I am pumped!

Bahahahahah, Doug is he in a tent @ Hippy Hollow ( for those not familiar, Hippy Hollow is along Lake Travis. Nudists are welcome but you don't wanna see anything there without several layers of clothing):chuckles:

I don't know what team we will see tonight...the team that takes the Spurs lightly until the 4th or the team looking to build up the momentum to wind down the season...

Should be a pretty easy win unless Ginobili goes apeshit like he did last game.

WOW!! These game previews keep getting better and better! Great job.

Loads of creativity on these boards.
