I think Zeller is strengthening his campaign for 2013-2014 Most Improved Player. :chuckles:

I've never thought he would be fantastic, but I'm willing to be patient to see what an off-season program and a reduced role (not as starting center) will do. I don't think he's going anywhere.

He has been treating TZ like a little punk bitch on his first night in the prison.

God do the Cavs need someone like that to bring that workman like mentality to this group.

No, he isn't. And he shouldn't. But man, it's becoming really hard to see the upside there.

I was going to go in on Kyrie for missing a wide-open man in the corner, but then I saw it was Gee, so I understood.

I thought Zeller would be a cusp starter at center all summer. He's a little weaker than I expected but skilled and knows how to get position on driving guards... He just can't battle a real starting center. Anyone who thinks the future of the Cavaliers in the middle is already on the roster needs to watch games like this one.

I like our future a hell of a lot better than the Nets' future. They're going to be paying four guys 72 million dollars in the 2015/16 season. Only one of those guys will likely see an All-Star game in between now and then (Lopez). One of those guys is barely good right now (Wallace) and another will almost certainly be totally washed up by then (Johnson). Deron Williams was not the man they thought he was either, and he'll be making 22 million in the 2016/17 season. Keep in mind that, right now, this is a team that is fighting for the fourth seed in the East, and they're stuck with that same core and capped out for the next three years. They also traded away half their draft picks for the next decade, which limits their ability both to get better and to facilitate trades. They're the new Hawks.

Meanwhile, we've got mountains of cap space and a solid core of young players, plus at least one more top five pick and possibly a 14th or 15th pick as well.

I think I'd rather be a Cavs fan.
