Game 76 | Cavaliers vs. Hawks | April 2nd, 2010 | 8:00 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They take turns being the 2nd star......good luxery to have.....add Oneal and it's over for the leauge. Lets jsut hope AJ's injury isn't worse than they are saying....if he has to sit out against Boston I will be worried

Tawn may sit out even if he's healthy since the Magic are about to lose. The Cavs clinch the East tonight, and they now just need one more win (or LA loss, which isn't happening tonight) to get HC throughout the postseason.

Throwback game for the Cavaliers tonight.

Slugfest. Great rebounding. Great defense. James closing out the game.

Williams was absolutely stellar on defense. For all the games that Crawford has gone nuts on the Cavaliers to think that Williams would harass him all over the court and get 4 blocks was something that no one could have predicted. Williams was so good I will overlook that he threw 3 of the worst passes of the year in this game.

Hickson was big on both boards and his rotations and challenging of shots was great. Josh Smith made some great defensive plays on him which stopped it from being an off-the-charts performance.

Z continued his owning of Al Horford.

there should be a replay of the game on fsn soon for those that still feel the adrenaline rush from the beat down and don't plan on sleeping tonight.

There's a lot of talk about hickson, and mo's big gams. What's gotten lost in the shuffle was our free throw shooting.

75% and got to the line 28 times to the hawks 60% and 15 free throws. That and the board work was where this game was won.

mo = 7/7

everybody else = 14/21

so, it wasn't necessarily the team stepping up at the line, but mo getting there a lot more.

Fail. Legs or not, he's just not a contributor any longer.

Somebody has been taking lessons from PIP. :weirdo:

Oh yeah, and don't say Fail you sound like your 10. Its kind of funny how you are being a smartass to a veteran member and asked his age..

Was it ever good to see Mo get very aggressive and drive to the hoop on numerous occasions. I'll bet his shoulder is feeling 100% now. If he continues to be aggressive like that, he will get to the line 6 to 10 times a night. Cavs win each time. He looked possessed tonight on both offense and defense. Great game by Mo.

I think the best thing about this game was the defense against their backcourt of Joe Johnson, Bibby and Crawford. Thats why we dominate them. They don't have any bigs that can score on their own. I'll take Horford and josh Smith trying to score on us all day over JJ, Bibby and Crawford being themselves.

Indeed. It's nice to see what happens when he gives an effort on defense. That's all we can ask of him. It's frustrating that he doesn't bring that same energy and commitment on the defensive end every night, but every aspect of Mo's game seems tied in to how he's scoring the basketball.

Wow, my first Cavs game at the Q and I witnessed Mo Williams looking like DPOY.
