Game 79 | Cavaliers @ Bulls | April 8th, 2010 | 8:00 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Does anyone think playing the Bulls would be easier than the Raptors for Shaq? Noah is very active, but he doesn't have shooting range. Bargnani would force Shaq to guard on the perimeter, which we know he doesn't want to do.

Yes, but they'd probably start Rasho or Evans with him assuming Bosh is out, so Shaq wouldnt have to guard Bargs.

LeBron has taken about 8 times the retarted jumpers to end the game way more than any other Cavalier. Luckily he is LeBron and it goes in, we are more effective when we get in the paint, what the fuck is with all these ludacris jumpers.. We really shouldn't be bitching about Mo, LeBron's heatchecks against teams sometimes cost us games. (celtics..)

LeBron: 4/19 on GW

Just watched the game on DVR. For the first time this season im actually not mad at all we lost, it was a good game. It also showed this team is pretty good without LeBron to those who didnt believe

Pros:
+ Mo went crazy, he was the leader of the team tonight
+ Telfair, did anyone know that this guy was actually good!?
+ Jamario Moon! Seriously, no one saw a game like this coming for him
+ Jamison was scoring great
+ Danny Green Sighting
+ Players getting to play without LeBron and doing a little bit more
+ It was just a fun game to watch

Cons:
+ Jamison's knee got hurt again (idk if it was the same knee, you guys probably mentioned it somewhere in this thread)
+ Danny Green jacking up 3s for no reason
+ Weak Sauce

It's 2:09 AM on April 9th, and your link hasn't been updated in about four years.

Plus, what's the difference between Jamison getting hurt now or in the first game of the playoffs? Shit happens.

Spot on, except it was his foot that was hurt. They're calling it a contusion.

Looked like a pretty painful inner ankle roll when it comes to Jamison. Ouch.

ANother positive from this loss is doug smith crying

I think you know my feelings on the Cavs giving LeBron the night off in Chicago on Thursday: It’s a blow to the integrity of the game as well as a sign of disrespect.

It’s wrong, in my opinion, because it screws with a playoff race and there are other, non-essential games (like tonight against Indiana) that he could have bailed on.

And watching that one unfold with Mo Williams taking a series of increasing stupid and selfish fourth-quarter shots; and Anderson Varejao – ANDERSON FREAKING VAREJAO – taking the potential game-winner in the final two seconds – it only affirmed my opinion.

The truth, however, is that the Raptors have no recourse. They can complain, and I’m sure they will, but what’s the league going to do? They can’t change the outcome of the game, I guess they could levy a fine but that’s only money and the damage has been done.

Now, the Bulls may have won the game anyway – although watching them miss four straight free throws in the final 10 seconds makes me feel a bit dubious about that – but that’s not the point.

My point is the Cavs owed it to the playoff race, the league, the Raptors and the game to play their best players in that game. Had they given LeBron Tuesday night off, fine; let him sit out Thursday, too. They didn’t, so he should have played last night.

Sam Smith rivals even Skip Bayless in stupidity.

What is this integrity Smith speaks of....if you want to complain about the Cavs losing to the Bulls(because if they would have won you would not be complaining about us giving our star a rest) you might want to call David Stern up and ask him why the fuck the refs gave the Bulls all the calls.....integrity...:chuckles:
