Game 80 | Cavaliers vs. Pacers | April 9th, 2010 | 7:30 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I liked the game. One thing I believe the Cavs have discovered is that this kid Telfair can ball. He reminds me of Chris Paul in his overall game. yep, sure does. I can clearly see him and LeBron ballin together for sure. I feel Brown is not going to have a choice but to dress this kid in the playoffs. I'm not sure what he thought his plans were, but Telfair needs to play.,... or at least dress and be ready.

Wow Telfair got you too. Don't be fooled by Mr. Telfair. He can not shoot or play defense. He has senseless turnovers too. he does distribute the ball well, but unlike you've seen in the last two games, he is not a very good shooter. He usually shoots when he is wide open so his %s may consider to be on the average range. I got to follow him one year in Boston in Delonte's 3rd year. Telfair was given the starting job before he ever stepped on the court as a Celtic. Luckily for the Celtics they traded with Phoenix to pick up Rondo so the damage they did by trading the #7 overall pick to get Telfair was never really noticed.

Telfair is definitely a pure point guard though. I think he has matured into a quality backup point guard. But his effeciency and defense will always be below average.

Im not disagreeing with anything you just said about Telfair... HOWEVER, isn't it possible Telfair has matured and worked on his game to the point that he is a decent shooter, and better overall player? I just don't think we can write-off these last two games as flukes.

I'm willing to eat my crow should he suddenly look terrible next season, but I think Bassy could be a lot better than we all expected.

People are pissed because Telfair is outperforming everybody's expectations. :chuckles:

Serious crab mentality going on in here.

I was all for him in that deal, sure it was a fill in, but guy could certainly be a solid backup PG for us.
