Man, Windy really is going overboard tonight.

Totally agree with you. Waaaay overboard. Saying that Mo and Antawn should have played in the 4th in order to win the game? Please.

I like Windy most days, but NOT today after his few articles of the meaningless game. What the hell would he say about Mike Brown if they had played all out and got injured? Oh, a different story then, huh? I couldn't disagree with Windy and his stance on the game anymore than I do now. I don't give a shite who he is or what he does for the Cavs or the Plain Dealer. He's wrong. Period.

Well, what would you have done? Say: "Oh, it's fine. They weren't serious. Just wait for the playoffs?"

Face it, he's an analyzer of the game, he's just breaking it down. I read his blog and it didn't seem out of line. I agree that it shouldn't be concerning, and he did mention that, but man... he only was giving his impressions, some of the best in the city.

It isn't a big deal either way. I just want the playoffs to start already, just like the city does, and just like the players and coaches.

Don't you just hate it when you decide a regular season and STILL have 5 games left to play now?

I'm not saying its out of line or that he shouldn't give his impressions, he certainly should write whatever he feels. It was just an overreaction to a very, very small issue.

I agree with Windy, you either play Mo and Jamison or you don't. MB decided to play them and then inexplicably sits them the entire 4th quarter. They were in position to win and both of them were playing well. He should have played them in the 4th, or not play them at all. Sometimes I feel like MB is holding us back. Meaningless or not it was a chance to get better, and Mo and Jamison could have gotten better if they led us to a win over a team that needed this win more than us.

Is that as opposed to we are not better now, so we must get better by playing all out in a meaningless game? How do you believe we get better assuming we could be any better to begin with? Do we get better without Shaq against Orlando? Does Mo and Antawn get better by simply being in the game? How exactly?

In my mind, the Cavs won the mental aspect of that game. It wasn't even close. How does Orlando feel now that they won by six points over a Cavs team they know didn't try to win, and over a Cavs team who sat Mo and Jamison in the 4th, and didn't play LeBron at all, and didn't play Shaq at all? Do they feel good about this win? Do they now believe they can beat the Cavs? Of course the answer is; HELL NO.

I'm damn happy Brown didn't play them in the 4th. My only hope is that we don't play anyone but the bench on Wednesday..... excluding Delonte. He doesn't need to play either.

Didn't watch but how was this even close? Howard playing full minutes? Lewis and Carter playing fairly longer than they should? Boy, I can't wait to meet everyone in the PO's.

did somebody hack Windy's twitter/cleveland.com account? These recent posts are a bit much...wonder if he is pissed about that write in NY that bashed him.

Its like everyone forgot that Lebron did not play in this game not to mention Shaq.... Anthony Parker? who cares..as long as we have one of Moon, AP, and Parker, we still can matchup with the Magic on the wings if its needed.

All this game tells me is that the Cavs minus Lebron can play with the top teams in the league. Mo, Jamison, JJ, Delonte, AV, Moon, Z collectively would make this team still be very good without Lebron.

The cavs had 14 offensive rebounds in the game. 7 by ilgauskas. That's a big day at the o-boards.

I counted zero offensive rebounds in the third quarter. I look at the third quarter as being where the magic went on their run going +9. The magic should never be able to keep the cavs off the boards for an entire quarter. The cavs missed thirteen shots. did not get a 0-rebound. got 5 free throws. That's where the game was lost to me.

This thread should be renamed "WHO GIVES A SHIT?!"

Can't wait to see more of this:

lol... and her twin is oblivious to the fact that she's now on her ass...

Upon my second viewing :)chuckles:), it looks as if I can totally envision the Cavs WITH LeBron beating the Magic in the postseason. They needed to turn it on and barely squeezed by our b squad in the 4th and MB had mailed it in by then. Howard got his, but Z was all over the glass. We know Z can't guard Howard one-on-one, but with the big fella in there, he doesn't have to.

I like our chances and I want to see Dwight Howard hold his head in shame as we are hoisting up the ECF and rubbing it in.

we have taken on and beat the cavs with both of your prime players...it makes no diff to us...

I was sick of seeing Round 2, Game 6 | Cavaliers vs. Celtics | Thursday, May 13 | 8:00 ET... So, lets go back to a happier time...
