Is this a Damon Jones leg kick?

Quality game thread to end the season

I hope Mike B. suits up all the starters in this one, would be nice to get at least ONE game in with most of our regular rotation.

With all due respect don't diss

"Average Joe" Joe Smith. :chuckles:

He was one of my favorite players during the time he was in a Cavs uni.

Saying that he's thinking he should've stayed in Cleveland is dissing him?

Out to dinner in ATL with Austin Carr. He was just denied a beer by waitress b/c of no ID. He was upset...but also pleased.

Look at the picture, then look at the caption. He is being mocked.

I really want to watch how good Shaq looks. People are talking about Lebron getting all this rest and how it might not be a good idea but not a lot of people are mentioning Shaq and how he has very fresh legs and that just spells disaster for the oppostion. A fresh Shaq on his game + a motivated Shaq = Ring. Shits going down this postseason.

Now that the game means nothing to Atlanta in terms of seeding, I wonder if that will give the Cavs more reason to play Shaq (I still doubt they'll play LeBron).

The thinking being that it's going to be a glorified scrimmage where Shaq could get a little time without having to really mix it up yet. Would be a surprise not to see several Atlanta starters on the bench.

Um, I'm the one that did it :chuckles:

He's not being mocked at all. The pic is him getting sprayed with water so it would look like sweat for a Hawk photoshoot, and the captions have absolutely nothing to do with the pics..

Let it go man, he's not being mocked.

Zaza, on the other hand, serious mockdom. And deservedly so !! :chuckles:

I added the NumbersDon't preview in the original post.

Mixed up the usual spiel in the intro paragraphs for the last game, with the playoffs coming up.

For those that don't wish to find it in the long original thread :chuckles:, here it is:

Game Preview – Wednesday April 14, 2010 – Cleveland Cavaliers @ Atlanta Hawks

With just 1 game remaining, us fans are already looking forward to this weekend’s start of the playoffs. With just one goal in mind from the outset, it’s the same thing the Cavaliers have been looking forward to all season. In fact, it’s been stated that the Cavaliers really haven’t put on the after burners yet, as they have been waiting for the real season to start. This is especially true after they sealed up home court throughout the playoffs.

The history of Cleveland sports suggest that we should prepare for doom & gloom. Hell, it’s made things a lot easier for some fans, so they won’t be disappointed. But things are different now. A new aura is in the air in Cleveland. Something that the city has not felt since the Indians teams of the mid 90’s, perhaps not even then. Sure, Cleveland teams have been favored before & have lost. Yes, Cleveland teams have had the best record, only to lose without the championship rings. But, something is different. Something is different, because in each of those instances, we’ve been beaten by the better player (Michael Jordan, John Elway), the better pitching (Atlanta), the better team play (Florida), and the better personnel (Orlando). Never before has the best player on the planet been on the Cleveland team with the personnel in tact. LeBron knows the history of Cleveland sports. He knows of the fans’ hearaches & pains. It’s been 46 long years without a piece of the championship pie. We’ve said this before, but I personally have never said it with greater confidence – Is this the year?

View it in its entirety.

Remember to check out all the other great posts, & leave them some love.

The latest Weekly Recap is up, courtesy of myself.

Because of that, isn't it more a risk to play when the game means nothing to both teams?

I am firmly in the group now that thinks NO main player on the Cavs should play tonight. Brown will take heat for not playing them, but I cannot even imagine the heat he would take if he played someone like Shaq and the thumb was accidentally hit by a scrub from Atlanta in a meaningless game.

On another note. What exactly is up with Gibson?

Also, guard Daniel Gibson did not practice Tuesday and will miss the game to deal with a personal matter.
