Pretty excited for a day game.
Is it not a matter of some concern that the Cavs are 16 points worse than the second-worse team, at home? I mean, how are the Cavs not even close to an NBA team? I get it - LeBron left, Love is injured, Drew sucks, but shouldn’t the Cavs still be able find 10 NBA players and a coach who is not CYO-bad?

The defense is terrible. They have no faith in it and it all boils down to Longabardi. The defense has declined every year under his tutelage. He needs to be fired, but also probably burned. He has never run a competent defense

This is the worst coached team I have ever seen. They have no idea what they are doing out there. No idea how and when to pass...never seen anything like that. No plays, terrible PnR action...just wow lol.
It’s pretty bad to imagine that I would gladly take a Mike Brown led team over this crap. There are probably 3 players total on the currently healthy roster that know how to play.

Is Longabardi the 4 foot something coach I saw in Portland? I think Isaiah Thomas was taller and knew more defense than this guy.

I just looked at the boxscore.
Disappointing to see both Burks and Hood do absolutely nothing with their playing time. Was hoping to get something for them at the deadline but what team is going to want them?

At least hood did not take that 3 year offer thank god. Burke will have value for a bench player and contract

Yep. Check out his stats. He has never improved a defense he has been a part of, and in consecutive years the defensive rating on his teams have only deteriorated. He took a top 10 defense when Blatt was fired and turned it into one of the worst in the league in just 2 years.

His defense for Golden State called the "only way to defend them" resulted in only 1 win in 8 tries, which was a game the Cavs shot lights out.

Longabardi might have been the single worst decision the Cavs made in the past 3 years.

Of course Ty Lue might have quit last year if they had gone through with firing him...
