Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #15 | Cleveland Cavaliers @ Dallas Mavericks | Nov 22th, 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Doncic doing what he feels like

Yeah but thats not just against us. Thats against everyone. No one can stop Doncic. Dallas got Dirk gift wrapped on draft night years ago from Milwaukee. Now they got Doncic as soon as Dirk leaves to carry their franchise.

Just to point out that it's not really fair to blame Koby for any of that in terms of talent evaluation. Clarkson was acquired by Griffin and is still under that original contract. Nance also was acquired by Griff. Koby did extend him but we were a team to which FA's weren't lining up to go anyway, and we had a little space. His contract also gets significantly smaller moving forward, so he's tradeable.

Delly and Knight were both acquired as part of a package that brought us back picks. Them being overpaid relative to their talent is why we got the picks.
I know I’m just saying it would be nice if they could at least play to half the money they are making

Very good offensive game for Cedi tonight. His shooting has been good but he's also made some really nice passes, off of his drives.
Darius also has had a solid game offensively. He's gotten a couple of good looks from Cedi's passes.

Nance and Clarkson were both brought in by Koby, just under the pressure of the last year of LeBron and that clusterfuck.

Both Clarkson and Nance were acquired by Koby his first year as GM. Griffin was gone before the Kyrie trade. Clarkson and Nance were the pieces we got for the Boston trash.

Beilein is too set in his rotations and trying to ride out bad stretches. He needs to make adjustments. He sees teams a second time and they beat the team the exact same way.

I knew he would have to adjust to the NBA but some of this stuff isn't NBA related problems. You have to game plan for teams at every level.

You may be right. It may also be that JB wants to give his rotations enough of a chance to ensure that a rotation not working is a function of truly poor fit, and not just some guys having yet to get on track this early in the season. Switching stuff up too soon can lead to the second-guessing of "maybe we should have run with that a bit longer to see if the kinks could have been worked out."

I'm not saying he's right -- just saying that there may be some thought behind staying with some things that may not appear to be working right away.

Does anyone go up softer than Love? Maybe TT?

Oh yeah.

Guess I'll go back to watching dynasty reruns.

Garland should come back in before the end of the quarter or to start the 4th for his confidence and development.

they could win this by 50+ if they wanted

They do have the NBA's biggest cheat code in Luka Doncic. Its only his 2nd year and hes approaching best player in the league rapidly. Top 10 at the least at 20 years old. How 2 teams passed on him and 1 team traded him away I'll never know. Such a shame we couldn't get him.

That's true but I think some of the problems right now is constantly playing small against teams that have more size. It's not like Mckinnie hasn't shown his worth but we keep rolling out guards against wings.

No resistance on the perimeter or in the paint. Hardaway and Porzingis haven’t shot this well all season.

I just want to see Garland and Porter in garbage time please
