The backcourt has to change.

Its not working and it's sucking the life outta the team. One of them has to head to the bench for, sigh, Delly.

Yep: just doesn't work either way
On defense not only are they small but they don't play bigger then their size. They both look weak and unable to board in traffic or fight thru screens (garland especially)

On offense: they're a mess - have no idea what they're trying to do. Wasting a lot of time on the shot clock without getting into action

I don't think it's going to happen. Beilein won't even put a wing in at SG to adjust to these teams length.

Garland isn't fast enough or is too passive to be part of a undersized backcourt. If you run a undersized backcourt, you want your guards to be able to beat teams with their speed. Garland has yet to show if he has even average guard speed.

This is on Beilein. The Celtics had one guard and 4 forwards on the floor. He isn't matching up and Garland/Sexton don't have an answer on offense to exploit them.

I don't know if that's "on" Beeilein. Like he's trying to figure out what he's got in these young kids. You'd HOPE they could score a little on supposedly slower players like Tatum.

It's on the coach to match up with lineups. The players can't sub in and out themselves. Beilein basically has two lineups, the starting lineup and the 2nd unit. There are no lineups to make adjustments for different size teams. We don't have a big lineup or one where everyone is switchable.

'John Hension is a rim protector' could have fooled me... at least from this game.

Did you see this roster? It's hard to get 1 lineup..and you want the coach to make lineupS? There are only 2 NBA starters on this roster. On most decent teams our rookies wouldn't even see the court. Sad state of affairs.

Porter could become a really good player man. Love his game!

I hate watching this team. Last year was more entertaining. I literally get angry watching them.

You can play KPJ, Cedi, or Mckinnie at SG and at least try to match up with the Celtics length. All we are learning about Sexton and Garland right now is they can't guard 6'8 wings.

Porter needs to be put into the starting lineup. He has more potential than Garland and is clearly better than Osman.

The guards are so, so, so bad. Garland is only playing because he was the 5th pick. That's it. As of right now, he doesn't have the actual skills or talent to be on an NBA court. There's NOTHING there atm.

If we packaged Sexton up with Love maybe the Suns would bite and we can get Mikal + a first?

This problem is squarely on the front office. They overdrafted undersized players two years in a row and added nothing in free agency.
