I’m glad Sexton making them shots. He’s not looking to pass. Duh your team gonna be mad if they’re just standing there every offensive possession.

It was no shade. I’m just asking because I see these taunting comments all over the board as if it’s going to change anyone’s opinion.

And I really don’t think anyone has ever said Sexton sucked since his rookie season. I did say his game was ugly tho.

He isn't going to grow his vision if they are just going to run sets where he has to make multiple reads and make a decision to shoot or pass. They need to draw up specific plays for him to just pass the ball. Find the spots where each guy likes the ball and have Sexton run action to then pass to them for a catch and shoot opportunity.

Got it. Since this board has been debating Sextons play ad nauseum since we drafted him, I thought it would be fun since he’s feeling it on O tonight.

I personally think we should not trade a 20 year old who can fill it up like this. Think he can easily become a rich man Lou Williams off the bench. Now if he refuses the bench then I’m all behind trading him for not being a team player, but it would suck to lose a young player like that at this point as he has shown the ability to improve.

People get too caught up into trading or benching Sexton. We have no clue how this team will turn out. I personally feel they should be making Sexton more of a PG regardless of what the organization thinks of Garland. If he is a combo guard, he is more useful to the team than a short SG.

Starting to make adjustments if it's trading or benching players when this team is nowhere close to a finish product is just going to create drama and not maximizing the teams potential when they finally do get all the parts they need.
