Yea and they have the ball in their hands all the time and the organization isn't babying them. They're playing 35 minutes a night.

So when they suck, the whole team is gonna suck.

This is life for a while. particularly when the Cavs are wanting to lose.

They're fine with losing, but I think they really just want Sexton and Garland to take their lumps and (hopefully) learn the hard way. The hope is for these two guys to be playing well, in whatever roles, two years from now. Whatever we get now is a bonus. Just IMO.

Garland basically didn't play last year,,Sexton played a full year of college all last year and all this year...I'm more willing to cut Garland slack without a doubt.
I don't know if the lights ever going to go on for Sexton,,yeah he scores a lot of points ,,he should he takes a ton of shots.

Everyone played horrible today. Hoping to beat the Knicks was too much to ask...

It didn't help that they have a bunch of injuries and probably are waiting to resign Mckinnie to his second 10 day so they can get closer to the trade deadline. Beilein went to a 8 man rotation and that was as far as he could go. I've knocked Beilein for how he has matched up in previous games, tonight he had no choice but to roll with what he had.

The Knicks are a team that should be easy to exploit if we had our normal depth.

Both played bad tonight but I personally think people get too high on Garland and down on Sexton at times. Both need time to develop and to me neither are #1 options so there is no point to trading or building around either until we can get a #1 option player.

I know this will stir everybody up but with Wade, Cook, and Mooney back with Charge they beat the Cavs easily. By 10.

I loathe the Knicks..can't stand watching them..thought the Cavs would take this game.

Tanking. I mean that's all I can think of. Henson with a mysterious back injury and now this. They're just trying to do what they can to lose.

They can all be healthy and they would still lose.

I just want to say that the Flagrant foul on Love as really stupid. Morris kicked his leg way out, you are not allowed to do that. The fact he stepped on Loves foot was a result of him trying to draw a foul. Really didn't like that. They are going to just let guys bomb from 3

Garland is improving, but physically he is not ready for the NBA.. two years from now he will have the physique to compete, really..

This game however was a setback for the team.. 40 of 97 shots were from Garland or Sexton, which would be fine if they each scored 30, or had 10 assists to go with 4 turnovers.. but that's not where we are..

One thing I don't really like about modern NBA offense, lol.

The Knicks basically run a low-passing, high-dribbling offense which might be a few steps away from blacktop basketball. Their personnel is almost all bigs, so Cavs lose when they do much of the same. I'm not nearly as mad as this as I was the Bulls game, which was winnable until the Cavs shut the lights off.

BLEH.

Unlike last year I don't think the Cavs really NEED to tank, but they're playing like it
