Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #65 | Cleveland Cavaliers vs Chicago Bulls | March 10th, 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We got no legit shooters. Love when he's on I suppose. Who else we got? All the good teams drain threes when needed.

We need to get some guys back. We can afford to lose games but I don't want to run our guys into the ground at the end of a long season. Playing 7 or 8 guys heavy minutes is crazy.

If the Cavs shot anywhere close to their season average from 3 then they win big because of additional buckets and limiting transition buckets.

The Cavs’ injuries really got the best of them tonight. No Sexton means no attack guard and the offense was sluggish when he sat. KPJ and (gulp) Garland coming back should really help.

The turnovers and 2nd choice points really obscured the fact that some good transition defense and pre shot defense was happening tonight. Delly was a driver of that buy there where some very good defensive possessions. Unfortunately quite a few were erased by giving up an offensive board

Can’t say that I like Drummond, or his body language during the game, but does it not seem like he gets mugged and hacked underneath 4-5x a game, and gets no calls? And then gets called for a body foul on the other end when guards throw themselves into him?

The modern game is never going to be able to coexist with big men like Drummond if it is going to be refereed so inconsistently.

Drummond Needs coached you know he will opt in so teach him or bench him if he doesn't so much talent does not know how to use it how can our tv crew give game ball to white less pts more turnover than Collin.'

It's been like that for the Cavs all season.Sexton is always getting elbowed on the face, neck area and etc everytime he's near the basket.

Yea Love did have a very classic Love type of effort late where he just decided he'd stand and let Thad Young shoot a wide open corner 3.
Biggest bitch in the league

For some reason we just can't beat the Bulls, even with LaVine out. Tonight there were a couple of reasons, mainly the horrible 3-point shooting. The Cavs made 6-of-24. They were 2-for-18 at one point but knocked down four late ones to give them a shot. Love and Cedi combined to go 2-for-17 from deep. I know this was a road game, but 2-for-17?

The other reason they lost was the inability to control the defensive glass. The Cavs gave up 14 offensive rebounds, including several late in the 4th quarter that cost them dearly. Having clawed back to within two points they allowed consecutive offensive boards that led to a wide open 3-point shot that put them in a deep hole. They gave up a huge put-back in the final minute when Nance blocked out his man but Drummond and Love just stood there a watched Harrison run past them for an uncontested put-back that finished them off.

But the Cavs dished out 29 assists, so that was outstanding. Sexton was 12-for-16 for 26 points and five assists. He should have had a couple more if Drummond could catch the damn ball. The Cavs committed 18 turnovers and Dre was responsible for six of them. He also committed five fouls. Not a great game for the big man as the Bulls made a lot of layups over him.

Nance had a nice game with 16/4/6 and two steals, going 6-for-6 from the field.

This was a very winnable game, but with Cedi and Love going cold from the 3-point line the Cavs came up a little short. Cedi had a rough game going 4-for-16 for a -13, worse than anyone other than McKinnie.

Two days off before back-to-backs on Friday and Saturday. Hope we can get TT back by then.

He did that bullshit against Houston, earlier in the season.

I don't understand, why fans have no trouble criticizing a second year player about his defense but rarely say anything about a player that's been in the league for a long time doing that bullshit.

Im not expecting Love to be an All-Team defensive player but at least put some effort in it.

I guess what fans are you talking about? Love gets killed here for his defense.

Not as much they kill Sexton for his.

Dunno about that. I killed Love so many times for his defense, he is practically a zombie at this point and perhaps i'm to blame for his god awful defense as I turned him in to one.
