Game Thread 2020-21 Season | Game #24 | Bucks @ Cavs | February 6, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For all the love Sexton gets around here: I'm worried that good defenders like Holiday and Caruso can put the clamps on him.
I do like what Garland has been able to do and both Sexton and him are handcuffed with this dumb lineup

I'm worried about all of our last three lottery picks if I'm being honest.

Against this trio, Jrue Holiday looks like the most efficient player in the league two straight games.

Last night, 8-9, 17 points tonight.

Tonight 8-14, 20 points.

It's becoming a more and more regular thing where guys are just easily shooting over their heads.

Is the coaching staff purposely trying to lose the game: who the hell plays twin towers who can't shoot in the modern NBA
Bucks had BroLo & Giannis out there together. Twin towers to match twin towers.

I hate to pile on, but I think Cedi it toast here.

Not sure he’ll ever be a reliable rotational player on a winner, but he needs a fresh start. I think he definitely cares. I think he struggles to accept that he is not able to do the things in the NBA that he can do for the Turkish national team. Maybe on a team with veteran consistent playmakers he could settle into a set role and rebuild some confidence but its just not happening here. At this point he’s just a contract for trade salary matching purposes in a deal involving other players
Agreed. His effort is there every single night but it’s hard to say what his role should be because he doesn’t have one skill that stands out. The Kyle Korver impression isn’t it. He isn’t an isolation player. He isn’t a lockdown defender. He’s an end of the bench guy in a contender. He can play in a pinch because he make high IQ plays like good passes and off ball movement. But he’s a liability with increased exposure.

He seems like he's rushing out there. Way too quick trigger on a lot of his 3s

Sexton has been absolutely putrid. Good lord.
Yep. Probably his worst game of the year. He’s done a lot of great thing to improve but still has a lot of work to do to be a consistent all around great player. We know he’ll work hard at it and hopefully he’s a guy that gets better each season or half season as he transitions towards that coalescence of physical and mental prime that player seem to hit in the 26-31 age range.

Lopez is a great shooter: stupid strategy to put 2 guys who can't shoot to counter. You're playing in the Bucks want to do

Okoro always in somebody landing spot. He gotta be careful

For memory Sexton has always struggled vs the Bucks, their length just shots down his rather basic but effective offense

Drummond's been our best player tonight so I'll be looking forward to how the board will collectively still blame him for this coming 20 point blowout.

Most people give him props when he has a decent to good game but they're far and in between. Most of the criticizism he deserves them.

I don’t know how the sunshine pumpers who felate the org can watch these last few games and leave with a positive outlook. It’s a long road ahead. That’s all I can say.

Nah. Okoro ain’t ready to handle the ball. JBB went three straight. Scratch that 4 straight possessions to him.

young players take time, we need to find a 6'8 wing scorer though and that has always been the case even when we were 3-0

Why take Garland out and leave no PG? Okoro not ready to handle the ball.
