Curry had 24 in the first half and only 12 in the second but only because the W's blew out the Cavs in the third quarter. If the game had been closer he could have easily had 50.
The Cavs have one game in the next five days and that's not a sure thing because San Antonio has a COVID problem. Some days off will give them a chance to work on some defensive issues. Too much confusion and ball watching led to back door cuts and uncontested dunks. It was embarassing to watch Green get 15 assists, most of which where to guys cutting uncontested to the rim. Cavs players were getting back picked and their teammates either weren't calling it out or weren't switching.
The Cavs had 15 offensive rebounds but still only managed 98 points thanks to 17 turnovers and extremely poor shooting: 38.9% from the field and 26.7% on 3's. The difference between the Cavs' shooting accuracy on open shots and all of their opponents on this trip has been shocking. The Cavs are The Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight. The Warriors shot 7% higher on 3's than the Cavs did on 2's.
Despite having nobody over 6'7" the Warriors held Allen to 5-for-12 from the field and 13 points. I was expecting more but Draymond Green is still one of the best defensive players in the league and an amazing passer.
Garland had a horrible game going 6-for-20 with a -39 in 40 minutes. Cedi managed 17 points but it took 15 shots and he was a -35. Okoro was back to being Okoro with 2 points on 1-for-8. I'm glad he wasn't injured on that charge, though. Stevens had a very impressive dunk.
No Love, Nance, Drummond, Windler, and Prince tonight. Not that we would have won even with all those guys, but it probably would not have been so embarassing.
