Game Thread 2020-21 Season | Game #36 | Pacers @ Cavs | March 3, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Delly can’t play, he needs to be cut, and a PG brought in. This situation could repeat.

My issue with Osman continues to be that he's the anti-Heat Check.

When he starts having an off night, he tries HARDER to be the hero. Missing a shot means he's going to play selfish. Turning it over means he's going to try harder to drive into traffic.

He gets more selfish when he starts playing poorly, basically.

It took a hell of a lot to lose that game. For a team teetering between high lotto and playoff push, a shit show like tonight before a long lay off probably steers thinks firmly back into ping pong ball watching.

I’m ready to roll the dice on any young wing with the slightest upside. I can‘t watch any more Cedi. I can’t do it.

Right, he took like 4 straight shots, missed them all. I knew Indy was going to take the lead then.

I wonder what he says in the locker room after he kills the team. Does he apologize? Does everyone stare at him and WAIT for an apology?

He's single-handedly killed the team at least a handful of times this year. That's not normal.

Can't believe we let a guy with a Spider Man 3 Peter Parker haircut get a triple double on us...

We have four playmakers on the team: Sexton, Nance, Garland, Love

Those are the guys who can consistently create for both themselves and for others. After Garland went out(was having a great game with 15 points and 5 assists in 19 minutes), that left us with one playmaker and one ball handler(the same guy) for the final 19:24 minutes

That same guy was also the only one left who could make a shot. When the bench doesn't show up for this team, they really check out and provide nothing.

Watch the replay. Dean was running towards the 3 line on ballside. 1.3 seconds could have had a shot at it. Dylan didn’t look.

I agree he didn't look.

My point is that I'm not sure Windler would have found Wade in time. Windler seemed to be hoping for a quick foul situation. He really would have looked like a rube holding the ball as time expired.

I know it's not healthy, but imagine a Brogdon-Sexton backcourt

Garland’s natural ability with the ball and ability to facilitate was never more obvious than the crunch time possessions where Windler brought the ball up and we had three straight TOs... I don’t blame Sexton, that was a bad coaching decision. Sexton should have had the rock, period. And man do we need another true ball handler on the team as many have begged for in recent weeks.

hung with a tougher team despite being exceptionally careless with the ball. A good learning opportunity loss and better lottery odds.

What a collapse lol

Garland getting hurt being a factor but also an underrated one was the incredibly long minutes JBB gave McGee after Garland went out and he was -15 in his 18 minutes. Weird decision by JBB assuming JA wasn’t hurt.

i agree with both. sexton had to handle the ball and make plays and cover up for cedi and mcgee in that long stretch in the 3rd quarter. i felt sexton was going against a river created by his own team mates.

even the start of the 4th quarter, allen is still not in. everyone made poor decisions, including the coach.

He just had an appendectomy. That's just shitty luck. Let's see what happens.

If Allen comes back in to start the 4th quarter, you’re asking him to play 12 minutes straight and likely be gassed by 3 minutes remaining. I do agree he should have come in sooner though, maybe with 9 or 8:30 remaining.
