Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #13 | Pistons @ Cavs | Nov. 12, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Then why were they only a five point underdog? We beat the spread by 15, that means something
yep it means the Cavs have depth and used it today Detroit might not have 3 starters on that entire roster

This is the first time the Cavs were favorites in any game this year, and it was only by 5 against a terrible team at home.

I’m saying it is impressive to beat the spread by 15 regardless of your impression of the quality of opposition.

So Mobley with 16 pts., 7 boards, 2-2 from deep (!), 2 steals, 3 blocks...and we're not really talking about him because it feels normal.

That's a pretty damn strong statement about how good he is.
5 more points and I would’ve been right about today hahaha this kid is insane

Cavs had a lot of suboptimal play. Still a 20 point rout in the end, and a Tacko Fall sighting.
(side note: I love how the Cleveland home crowd treats anything Tacko does like he's RVD. Funniest thing ever)

In a game like this, I'm not mad at Okoro taking all the 3s he can, because he needs to have that experience.
The Cavs are no longer in the toilet bowl of the NBA, even if they could possibly still be in the bathroom. That's progress. And it's still so exciting to see Garland and E&J (Evan and Jarrett). Rubio is still showing the Cavs chose right. Windler and Cedi!

This team is a team of players that know their roles.

Cavs still need Markannen and Love back.

Mobley is up to 32% from 3 now. He probably stays around there for the year, but remember he is 20, a long 7'1 athletic and the best damn defensive big man since AD.

Also he is a work in progress on the back to the basket footwork. But he is learning so much every day, it is crazy.

Over his last three games Mobley is 5-for-9 from deep. You can see his confidence growing by the game.

Just watched the highlights. It was like watching a JV team vs the Varsity. Our CAVS are making it look easy.
Yes, they are. The unity, maturity, & composure that this young Cavs team is playing with is SO impressive. It’s like they’ve adopted Mobley’s chill demeanor and absolutely nothing fazes them. As long as Mobley stays healthy, I’m certain that this team is playoff-bound.

Mobley is like a combination of Anthony Davis, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan and Kevin Durant.

Durvnettcis is what I call him

The more I see of Mobley, the more he reminds me of Tim Duncan, which is a massive compliment. ‘Slim Duncan’ is just a perfect nickname for him.

Watching some of the game highlights, I saw some very busy man defense from Garland.. no Ole' .. That's a big change from last year.. Will be interesting to see if it shows up in the advanced stats..

Team has some fight, and Mobley makes look smooth. I see why the FO is pumped..
