Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea I was thinking about watching it even though there is nothing remotely going on to make me think a really bad lakers team would compete with a really hot Raptors team and I'm glad I didn't even turn it on for a second.

Lakers are laying down. Raptors are gaining some serious steam.

They're a team that can probably get hot and upset a team, if not two.

OH didn't realize FVV was back.

Yea nm. That game is over.

Maxey not playing like steph curry and the sixers are pretty normal again. I could see Embiid being out on Wednesday after that fall, sixers still have a busy schedule to finish up.

Meh. I invested 6 mins. Lakers went down 26-4. Gonna stick with being happy about our win.

We just couldn't take advantage of the Raps being without like half their team in the same time we were without half of our team. They've beaten two of the best teams in the league without three key guys. We've lost to some of the worst teams in the league while being pretty much healthy and went to an overtime against a squad with one starter. And not a very good one.

No we're descending and they're ascending. I don't think there's anyone to argue that and if we were to play them in a 7 game series they'd probably beat us.

But, I mean, their best players are mostly all veteran guys who have been to and made major contributions in a Finals run. Siakim returning to form has taken them from a fringe playoff team last season to a legit problem this season.

Terrific ball movement in the possession where Mark hit the icing 3. It all happened fast. Garland throws the ball to LeVert, who passes it to Okoro in the corner. Okoro immediately attacks the rim, then stops and passes the ball to LeVert, who at that point looks where Mark was, then runs to his midrange-shot area, fakes a shot and passes the ball to wide open Mark, who hits nothing but net. Mark was open because the defense collapsed to defend against LeVert’s shot that he didn’t take and to guard Mobley who was in the middle of all this ready to get the ball.

When I am thinking about LeVert, this is how I’d like to see him play to be most effective. Be aware of the passing options before he moves for this midrange shot. Be a playmaker and a shooter - take the shot when he is not overly contested, otherwise pass the ball if there's time for it.

Here's the short version:

A much, much needed win against a .500 team on the second night of a back-to-back on the road with three starters out. It still went to OT. The Cavs miss Jarrett Allen in the worst way. Mobley is just too slim to handle these burly centers. Zubac and Hartenstein combined for 34 points, 20 rebounds, and went 15-for-20 from the field. But Mobley had a huge block on a Zubac dunk to get the Cavs going in OT.

This game never should have gone to OT but the Cavs missed 9 free throws, any one of which would have won it for them in regulation.

Cedi was a -11 in 8 minutes in the first half and JBB sat him down for the rest of the game, giving Windler 12 minutes. He didn't score but he kicked in 5 rebounds.

Mobley was amazing with 30 points in 40 minutes while banging with Zubac and Hartenstein the whole time. Okoro stepped up big with 20 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists while going 11-for-13 from the line. He was a team high +21. He is really going to be sore tomorrow as he was taking hard fouls at the rim all night.

The Cavs were very lucky Markkanen and LeVert were available. They combined for 28 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 assists. Without them this game would not have been close. Welcome back, fellas, you got here just in time.

Garland was scoreless at halftime but got going in the second half and ended up with 24 points and 13 assists. He only had three turnovers in 46 minutes so that's progress.

As I expected, the Clippers bench warmers came out swinging. Despite three of their bench guys starting, the rest of the bench got 24 points in the first half.

The Cavs had a bad first half defensively, allowing 57 points to the team ranked 24th in scoring and playing without four of their leading scorers. But they improved in the second half, holding them to 49 points and only 5 in the overtime.

It's really great to have Markkanen and LeVert back, although LeVert needs to stop picking up the ball in the paint when he doesn't have a shot or a pass.

The Cavs just have to keep grinding out wins any way they can until Allen gets back.

This is the game I get to my seasonal over/under of 38.5. I can feel it!
Cash it, baby!!!

Okoro seemed to play bigger tonight. Had a really aggressive rebound late in OT that you normally don't see from him.

The Lakers are such an unbelievably bad basketball team. I would not be surprised to learn Westbrook is a double agent for Michael Jordan with the way Westbrook is nuking the tail end of LeBron's career.
