This is true....but did you watch the game today and hear what AC said about the guys he's seen on the streets play? Good enough to play in the NBA.

If Goodwin got waive tomorrow, no team in the league would pick him up, he is a 13/15 player on most roster……..And we’re whining that he not playing much, there a reason Garland playing 40 plus minutes…...

Every team in the league has developing young guys like this in the 10-15 slots of their roster who get handled in a very similar manner.

So many of the things people obsess and crucify JBB on is done by most coaches around the league and you would notice it if you watched those teams 82 games a year with emotional investment.

Stevens, Wade, and Okoro have all improved and developed in year two.

Goodwin comes in and in the last few games has +/- in the -11 to -17 range

Plus/minus is a good advance stat but it still needs context. How many times has Goodwin been yanked because Cedi and Love are both on the court with him playing matodor defense while bricking threes giving up leads. The rotations on this teams are mind-blowing sometimes.

Exactly he did the same thing with Windler today who been literally skying for rebounds and playing the best D possible for a ginger midget. His reward for all that was garbage time minutes this afternoon and DNPs in the future.

Sorry, but Goodwin sucks. He's had like 3 good games for the Cavs. He couldn't even in bound the ball today before the 5 sec whistle, which was probably closer to a 6-7 sec whistle. It's not JBB's fault that he sucks, he just does.

JBB knew we needed this win and he was pulling out all the stops. He played Garland all but the final 33 seconds of the third quarter and then started him in the 4th until the game was effectively over.

Nice defense in the second half holding the Knicks to only 41 points. Barnett ended up 4-for-18 from the field - he averaged 24 points per game in March.

Moses Brown continues to make a case for being in the plans for next year with 16 points and 13 rebounds in 30 minutes. LeVert continues to get comfortable with a line of 19/6/6, including some tough buckets where he had to make something out of nothing with the clock expiring.

Garland had another good game with 24 points and 13 assists but he continues to struggle on the corner 3's, missing two more wide open ones today. Okoro had a quietly efficient game going 7-for-8 from the field for 16 points.

The Cavs committed only 9 turnovers and limited the Knicks to 6 offensive rebounds. The Cavs had 26 assists. Very nice numbers against a team that came in 8th in scoring defense.

Goodwin was a -8 in 10 minutes. He's getting to be unplayable. Is Rondo anywhere close to getting back?

Rondo has the worst net rating on the entire team since joining.
