Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Trade Sexton for Keldon Johnson & Lonnie Walker. Problem solved.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for that proposal but we need wings & Garland is our PG moving forward.

Starting Markkanen @ SF is a ticking time bomb.

Allen still getting pushed around underneath the basket is very disappointing. At this point it's somewhat doubtful that will ever change.

As much as I like Keldon he's only 6'-5" himself. About the same size as Okoro. Anyway the Spurs aren't idiots..I don't think Keldon Johnson is on the trade block.

if only the Cavs had picked Keldon when they had the chance...

that might be one of the only Sexton trades I'd entertain.

But I'm almost to the point with Love, where if Philly and the Cavs want to swap headaches I'd be cool.

The Markkanen experiment at the 3 should end now. Roll with Cedi and see if the Cavs can do anything with Windler in any trade deals... the Black Hole is gonna Black Hole.

He's weak.

He's good at challenging guards at the rim.

But he's physically a weak player.

I really am not liking the way this season has started when it comes to our 3 big moves this off-season.

And I like Rubio! But he's melting down late in games which is the exact opposite of whath e's here to do.

Markennen looks like a bad signing. And Allen is...not bringing the type of toughness we need.

It'd be real Cavs if Scottie Barnes, the player who best fit the bill to fill our wing problem, turns into an immediate star.
I hope he is a star.
I feel very comfortable that Mobley will be a massive star in the league.

Next two years is for sorting out who on the roster now can play smart basketball and around him and for drafting/signing/trading to replace those who can’t and most obviously they gaping hole at SF

We will absolute have a top7 pick in this draft. This draft has a ton of SF’s

He's 6'6", perfect for a shooting guard. He reminds me a bit of Jimmy Butler, who was billed as a SF when he entered the league but worked on his game & is now a SG. I think Keldon can do the same.

Man I'd like to trade Love for Gordon Hayward. He's just an afterthought for the Hornets at this point and has 3/$91mil left on his contract. They could trim a year off that salary if they trade him for Love...wishful thinking I know.

I think he's listed at 6'-5"...Not worth debating since that train left when Koby passed on him for Windler. Young, productive wings don't get traded in this league.

Would you guys consider this trade?

Rubio & Osman for Wiggins. GState saves a ton of money in taxes. Cavs get a legitimate SF who has improved tremendously. This trade puts us over the tax slightly, but I think it's worth it.

Yeah, to not have single playable SF on the roster is a huge failure by Koby

They would be getting Sexton though, who is more talented & fits greatly next to their tall point guards.

Unfortunately at this point yes. Wiggins has two years left, but this shit is so beyond old of not having any serviceable small forward on the whole roster.

Would prefer it to be Love, but they'd have no reason to do that.

I don't know man....Wiggins is still an awful perimeter defender. The Warriors hid him on defense by having him defend bigger players last year.

I know it’s the game thread, but I’m feeling lonely in my optimism in here right now.

It feels like there is a lot to build on these first two games. We have real talent at each position around the roster except wing. Yes that’s a glaring hole, but we’ve hit on each of our draft picks with perhaps the exception of Okoro who still has time to sort it out. 3/4 success rate on picks is… not easy. And I think Lauri, Allen and Rubio are all shrewd moves. Cedi and Love are finally where they belong on the bench, and JBB is tinkering with lineups which is all we can ask for at this point.

These guys are young and exciting. Let them grow. Now is the time to build around the talent we have and no longer think BPA mentality. I’m looking for the FO to be aggressive in sorting out the hole at wing. Enjoy the year along the way watching some legitimate talent.
