Game Thread | 2021-22 Season | Game #7 | Cavs @ Suns | Oct. 30, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I dunno.

I've never seen a game like that one and I hope to never again.

Windler and Wade can play. It takes watching the game for 2 minutes to see both should be well, WELL ahead of Lamar Stephens in the rotation.

No one will be talking about the Cavs anymore. Bill Simmons will resign out of shame and we are right back into irrelevancy.

I don't understand why LBJ is such a bitch and doesn't share his sauce with Windler. He is cute.

What message? be cyborgs. Never get exhausted mere mortals?
Playing exhausted is different than playing lazy. While I understand fatigue sets in; you cannot continually play sloppy and expect to not get your ass sat down.

Playing this many road games is ridiculous.

We've played at home what twice in 7 games?

And it will be 3 times in our first 10 games?

Shit is ridiculous.
Almost as ridiculous as the Suns only playing 5 games. Last one was on Wed and the one before that last Saturday.

Allen stringing together a couple of completely invisible performances. Have to be better than that. The rook gets a pass, you don’t.

Sense that Rubio is feeling the pressure to have to be more of a scorer than he is. That goes hand in hand with our clusterfuck rotations and no plan on offense.

Wade and Windler need to be in the rotation. Cedi should get a few courtesy minutes to see which Cedi you are getting and then adjust from there. Just no reason for a bad to middling team to be using such a short rotation. Keep the bodies fresh and the energy up, especially when you are going to have to win games defensively most nights because of the lack of firepower we possess.

They fought until the end. Looked like this was going to be a 35 point L midway through the 3rd, but they somehow got it down to 5 even if it was garbage time. I’ll give JBB some credit for getting the guys to battle, but his actual coaching is looking incredibly suspect.

This is the most ridiculous NBA game I've ever seen.

Perhaps if we had try to sprinkle in some bench help earlier in the game instead of just running everyone into the ground after a long road trip....
THIS.

the first 16 minutes was played well by the team, then jbb pulled some weird stuff out there.

Do they prescribe Xanax for game threads?

If you’re that guy getting that upset with this team… whew.

This season is about progress, not perfection.. Its an incredibly young team, there’s going to be ups and downs.. That is how you get two bad losses followed by three great wins followed by two more losses.. Cavs have to learn how to win — it’s a work in progress right now…

Wins help, but so does manageable expectations… The same people trying to find when the Cavs would get their first win after an 0-2 start are the same people hammering the Cavs for not winning the Suns and Lakers games..

If you told anyone the Cavs would go 2-2 on the west coast swing, they’d take that every time.. They 100% were in the Lakers game and were in the Suns game early and showed they can hang — it’s just a matter of sustaining..

The fact people get so caught up within the flow of the game and especially with JBB is a bit confusing to me.. JBB isn’t going to be the coach to see this thing through… As long as he has the locker room and isn’t holding a player back, I’m not going to get too upset…

Its a long season and a long road ahead, buckle up…

What frustrates me more than being on the road is we've literally played a playoff team from last season every game of this season so far, and most of them have been away, still, I think JBB isn't good, and we need a wing scorer. But whoever works on scheduling, I hope you get a papercut that someone squeezes a lime into.

If you believe the NBA powers that be the season schedule is handled by a computerized game system that randomly puts together a season schedule!
The only games that are handled by “real people” are nationally televised games.
