Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was crazy how Washington turned into a G league player when Neto started guarding him.
Definite credit to Neto.

He changed the momentum on Washington

Some I credit just to the law of averages. Guys like Washington simply aren’t built to play that way for a full game or full half most of the time. So some of his losing steam may have been natural

But that should not take anything away from Neto forcing the issue and credit should be given(but won’t be) to the coach for putting him in and sticking with him(well earned by Neto)

Individual stats. We had some gems tonight.

Starters: All 5 in double figures. I love it!
Allen 13-12-5 with a steal and 2 blocks in 29 minutes. 6-7 from the field. He outplayed Ayton.
Mobley 14-8-6 with a block in 34 minutes. 7-10 from the field. We dominated inside.
Mitchell 22-2-2 with a steal and a block in 30 minutes. 7-12 fg Good game in shortened minutes.
Garland 22-2-7 with 2 steals in 34 minutes. 8-17 fg Solid game.
Okoro 14-3-0 with a block in 23 minutes. 4-6 from 3. 5-9 fg Good game.

Bench 25-12-9 in 28 minutes
Stevens 2-6-0 with a block in 15 minutes. Solid defense too
LeVert 13-1-7 with 3 steals in 28 minutes. 6-10 fg Good defense
Neto 3-1-2 with a steal in 11 minutes. Much better than his stat line.
Love 4-4-0 in 18 minutes. The 3 didn't fall for him, 0-5
Osman 3-0-0 in 14 minutes
Diakite 2-0-0 in 2 minutes

Cavs handled business with a balanced scoring attack. Good to see Mobley and Allen get back into a groove. LeVert and Garland tied for most assists. In general, the ball was moving around more.

But RAUL NETO?? 10 minutes a game, give me that as much as possible.

He saved this game with his off ball defense, passing and occasional scoring. Again.

I might have underestimated Neto's impact. Good pesky D, hit an open jumper, you just have to defend differntly with him, cant switch as much.

Right. Taller PGs and others will post him up. He's a perimeter defender and a pg who is good at directing traffic to the center. If there's no solid help underneath there's a problem

But when a 6'2 Washigton was killingn us, puting a 6'0 Neto on him who can be a pesk worked well. JBB is shit on around here, but he made an adjustment in the 4th

Cleveland still in 4th, but tied with the Bucks 2.5 games out of first.
