Game Thread | Game #46 | Cavs @ Grizzlies | Jan. 18, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Games like these and playoff games (should we reach the playoffs) always come down to fundamentals. 66% FT and 20 turnovers. End of story

Would have been a great win and Mobley was a beast. That is one of the best teams in the NBA and Cabs were down Mitchell, Wade and Windler... Great second half...Cabs have no bench right now. Cabs can play with the best but still learning...
being down Wade and Windler isnt exactly a big deal. Wade has barely played this year and Windler has only a few more games in the NBA than I do. They did show they can play without Mitchell, but I dont want to see it frequently. Hope he is back soon.

There are legitimate criticisms of JBB, but this entire rant is absurd. He clearly called a play on the in-bound and we couldn't even get it in. Further, if you're up with that little time left, you shouldn't be pushing the ball. I don't blame him for not calling a timeout on the last play after a five second violation either.
Except we were down on that last trip up the floor and DG was coasting as if we were up a point

Wade has the second highest on/off number on the team. Love missed five uncontested shots, four of them 3's, and we lost by a point. Not having Wade is something we can handle when Love is playing well, but when he's bricking five shots out of six we need an alternative.

We have no backup center (JBB will not play Lopez) so Mobley plays center when Allen is down, meaning we need Love or Wade to step in at power forward. With Wade out Love is the only option and even he admits his right thumb is still screwed up. The numbers prove it - he's 4 for 32 on 3's.

I watched this to see if Okoro took 5 seconds. I got to about 4 1/2. What do you get?

Another poster said it was 5.2 seconds from the time okoro got the ball to the call. Basically it was exactly 5 seconds. Which is the rule, but still fast

They might as well not even put out a 2 minute report if they're gonna do shit like this.

See the LeBron thread.... The NBA isnt even pretending anymore to use the 2 minute report to be impartial
