Game Thread | Game #6 | Knicks @ Cavaliers | Oct. 30, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It feels like this team plays every single game as if its game 7 of the NBA finals. Its beautiful and been going on since early last season
The delicate balance of thinking about the bigger picture while still playing hard. I don't want to see game 7 intensity. It is not sustainable. Need the core guys to be resting when possible. We should not be overloading minutes for DM this early. DG back will help distribute the load when back. Okoro will be fresh come the 'offs.

The K Love Klincher. Nice ball movement.

That was beautiful basketball. Mitchell been scorching them so they double. He sees it and instead of going 1 on 2 passes it to Love. Love has been scorching them so there is a hard close out. Love dishes to Wade, who has also been scorching them, so another hard close out. Pump fake, defense after the double and close outs is now out of position. Drive to the lane, Love sees his man has lost contact and slides to the open spot. Wade knows where Love is going to go, stops, reverse pivots, fires an in rhythm pass right to Love. Bucket. Game over.

Can't wait to see DG getting some of these. He was already elite shooting 3s off the dribble and creating space. Now he will have 4 options: shoot the open 3, dribble in as the defender flies past him for an open middy, drive to the bucket for a layup, or cross-court to someone open. If that someone is Mitchell or LeVert, then it's going to look like Harlem Globetrotters basketball.

6th Man of the Year, Kevin Love.

Handsomest Junk Yard Dog known.

Dean Wade showing he belongs at a high level.

Oh, and also MVP candidate Donovan Mitchell with his usual 30+ 10+ assists.

It is absolutely true that only two other Cavs in history could be counted on to deliver 30+ points a night as par for the course.

No worries, Caris, still contributed despite the horrific shooting night.

Love this team.

“Baby, baby, WHERE DID OUR LOVE GO”.
