I got my beer for the 2nd half, Stone IPA. It's so relaxing watching a game knowing we will win.
3rd quarter
We quickly push our lead to 20 in the 3rd quarter. Okoro with a hustle rebound leads to a Garland 3. Later, Garland beats the shot clock, going from 30 feet out to a layup in less than 4 seconds.

LeVert with a 3 on a Cedi assist. Those two seem to play well together.

Stevens with a turnaround bank shot for 2. I didn't know he had that shot. Elvin Hayes made a career out of that shot.

We're up 20 in the 3rd and it feels like garbage time. Cedi hits another 3 for 15 points. He's played well on offense and defense. Later in the quarter another 3. He closes the quarter with another 3 at the buzzer. He has 21 points in 23 minutes. Cavs up 22.

Mobley's back in. Got a couple of no calls on shots he missed.

We're defending Oubre well. The whole Hornets' offense disintegrates into one-on-one with good defense.

4th quarter
Cavs force the Hornets into their 20th turnover. LeVert at the line for 2. Still feels like garbage time. Up 23. Then LeVert gets a steal and Rubio gets a bucket off the glass and 1. He's so steady. Up 26. Darius is resting.

Rubio fakes Smith and gets a short jumper.

Mobley goes inside and gets a bucket and his 26th point.

AC: "The Cavs have taken the spirit out of them."
John Michael: "21 turnovers will do that."

Hornets start junking up the game with 6:43 to go. Down 19.

Rubio gets another bucket as Neto comes in for Garland.
Green comes in. It's ovah. Osman gets another 3 for 24.
Oubre has 28.
Rubio gets another bucket.
Isaiah Mobley in with Sam Merrill and Windler.
Merrill got signed to a standard contract. I hadn't heard that.

On Sunday the Cavs beat the Hornets by 4. Tuesday - subtract Mitchell from the Cavs, add Oubre (28 points) to the Hornets. Cavs lose, right? Nope. Cavs by 14.

Like JBB said, no knockout punches, just building a lead and continuing to chip away. Very professional approach. We need to see that every night.

If you caught any of the charge games, Brobley may not be a bad filler piece after all. He wasn't terrible in college.

Glad to see JBB took my suggestion and used Wade instead of Robin Lopez when Mobley was on the bench. He probably should do that again tonight although neither of them will be able to handle Embiid.
