I would look talk to the Nets about Mikal Bridges. They also have a ton of other wings. Bridges played really well after being traded to the Nets. It might need to be a multi team trade but I think the Nets could be interested in Garland and Allen could go to a 3rd team. Then we get other pieces back with Bridges.

Gonna be hard to get him. Came out today they turned down 4 1sts from Mem. I love Mikal but hes one of the most underrated nba players rn imo

Not sure but out of all the pieces we have to trade (and are willing to), Allen has the highest value. Think about what the Clippers actually traded for Powell AND Covington (I would have loved both on this squad). Eric Bledsoe, Justise Winslow, Keon Johnson and future second-round pick. Bledsoe who is now playing in China. I really think Love could have been traded with a second round pick or three for a useful piece. Oh well, no use crying over spilled soup. Or whatever.

Kevin Love was the guy who needed to get up and out for something. he's learned well the PR game from LeBron. Never was tradeable while he was here, but the second he was a buyout guy, people hopped on him. Giving him that massive contract was a L.

Covington is getting DNPs. If he weren't so expensive and younger... that's the guy I want to be the "middle man" with Allen/Mobley.

To add on to the "front office don't know forwards" discussion: Keldon Johnson passed up for Dylan Windler should be as ringing in your ears as it is for me.

This team is too soft/young to come back from a 3-1 deficit. All year they folded against the more physical team, they cant turn that switch on yet.

I'm not even trading DG for Bridges straight up. Much less with JA in the deal.

If you're wanting to compete for a championship and Bridges is your first or second option, you're in trouble. At 27, he is what he is at this point in his career, which is a high end 3&D wing without the play-making abilities other more complete wings have.

Meanwhile, DG is 23, and just came off a season averaging 22 points, 8 assists, and shooting 41% from three. I read somewhere he was only 1-2 point guards in the NBA with those numbers.

Windy's not wrong although I would say we have seven - the usual starters plus Levert and Osman. Ok maybe that's 6.5. Nobody else is worthy of rotation minutes on a playoff team.

Washed Kevin Love would be no worse than the eighth best playoff player for us.
