Just caught baseball tonight and they had a little segment about the best shortstops 25 and under. Talking about how the Vizquel Nomar A-Rod Jeter class is fading out now and that the new guys are taking over. They broke it down into a few categories. Best feet: Mets SS Josey Reyes, Best Instinct: Padres SS Khalil Greene, Arm: Brewers SS JJ Hardy, Best Bat: Jhonny Peralta.

Then Gammons was asked to rank the shortstops in terms of the total package and numero uno was none other then Jhonny Peralta  He says he can be as good as or better then Derek Jeter, that he will hit 30+ homers a season or more :) Gammons is my favorite ESPN analyst of any sport because he isn't afraid to show love to the small market clubs.

Also interviewed Grady real fast on Baseball Tonight talked about his self proclaimed "meaningless" solo homerun up 10-0 lol..Gammons said this team has 4 franchise players that most teams are lucky to have 1..not counting our like 3 starting caliber pitchers coming up :D

Grady got the ESPN Number 1 play for his diving snare
