I was watching sportscenter earlyer, and th guy(I forget his name) thinks that Nomar will end up in Cleveland to play right feild.

nomar to play outfield? I think not. he has enough trouble staying healthy at SS...he would get hurt if he had to play in the outfield running and diving for lots of balls. he is injury prone and will want a lot of money

More like 1st base or 3rd, I would say.

Man, why we bringing in a bum. Why didn't we chase solid vet bat in Giles? Because we thought we needed a right hander?

Maybe there are some statisticians out there that said we needed one... really badly. But I think that leadership in clutch situations would have been much more important.

Go get me Ken Griffey Jr.!

Griffey??? He had a great comeback year last summer, but isn't he getting a little old?.....and talk about injury prone.

I don't think the tribe has to do a whole lot of changes with their roster. They're gonna be fun to watch next year.

Ill take Griff.....yes yes yes.

We're talking about a team that won 90% of its game since the all-star break, then chumped the last 8 games and fell out of playoff contention. A team that lost to the Chicago White Sox's 2nd string, consequently falling out of the wildcard race. A team that can't beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. A team that had the worst average with runners in scoring position, a team that left the most runners on base. There definitely needs to be a change. There needs to be a replacement for Ben Broussard in the lineup. Blake will stay, and I'll be fine with his .250 if he hits 20 homers.

In terms of Ken Griffey, we don't really need him to play every single game. I don't care if he plays 50 games. I just want him to be there at the end of the season and postseason. Someone that is a proven big bat that will hit the ball at will in clutch situations. I don't care if that guy is Griffey or not, but we need an anchor for our young batting squad, and he has to be an experienced leader type.

Giles would have been perfect, but we let him go. Sad. I don't think Garciaparra is the answer. But I do think Ken Griffey would be a great fit here, despite his injuries.

griffey would be another left handed power bat we got.their trying to get a right handed hitter with pop in their bat.
