Just having Windler stand in the corner waiting for a kick out then expecting all his shots to come after a pass at his knees with a defender closing on him isn't a recipe for success.
If JBB wants Windler to shoot he needs to run some plays for him. Run him off a few screens and feed him as he comes off the screen with explicit instructions for him to take the shot.
Do this once in awhile especially when we are struggling to find something to run offensively. Get him going a little bit. Then you can stand him in the corner and hope for better results. I think he's better shooting while he's been moving though than from a stand-still.
Is it reasonable to expect JBB and staff to recognize this or am I the only basketball savant around here?
