Grand Theft Auto V

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just got a PS4, got GTA and have been playing a lot the last couple days. Up to level 13.

Gamer tag is SuperSurgeMC if anyone wants to do a heist or something.

I've got an apartment in some high rise. But I'm pretty new and still figuring things out...

Just picked this up for XB1 (had it on 360 previously).

gt is ClevelandFan if anyone ever wants to run online
Wish you were on PS4. We'd go for a ride in my armored car.

I am probably gonna end up buying this game within a couple weeks for PS4.

I will let you know when that happens.

I don't really understand what you do online? Can we just sit on a park bench and wait for players to pass by us and then kill them, steal their money & clothes and throw them in a grocery store or something?

Or is it just like solo but you do the missions with real people.

Both. There are always randoms online that are just killing people, so you have to watch out. But to make money you can do missions online with friends. It's really fun.

You team up to steal cars, or take out a "rival gang" etc...

There are also survival maps that it's a limited area and waves of bad guys come at you that are increasingly difficult. But to use up ammo and that gets expensive.

It's an addicting game.

GTA V is definitely one of the best games ever made. It's a must have purchase and plays well on the PS4.

Such a great game. Still.
It really is...been playing a lot this last few days (I've been dealing with a lingering cold) and I just can't put the controller down. Pretty incredible given that I've already played through the story before. I haven't had that happen (being unable to stop playing a game) since playing Gears of War in High School...I'm honestly stunned that any game is even capable of enticing me this much anymore. Never thought it would happen again.

Game just kicks so much ass.

I've never did much online with this game...I look forward to giving that another shot after I finish the story again.

Well this may be the week that I pick it up.

PlayStation throwing a Rockstar sale this week, GTA V is just $39

It was $40 for XB1 when I grabbed it at Gamestop a couple weeks ago.

Think we'll see Red Dead 2 next year?

More importantly make it for pc also. I don't understand, rockstar ports everything to pc. The only game in the last 15 or so years I can think of from rockstar that wasn't ported to pc was red dead. In my opinion that was their greatest game too. Gta v is inching close to it though (I haven't finished it).

I have only played a tiny amount of the story mode. Is it as fun as online?

I can fire up online mode and look up and it's been 3 hours.

The story itself is pretty good, but I have a lot more fun online just because I can dick people over in freemode/races/etc.

Definitely play it if you have the time, but keep in mind that it's not a short 6-hour Call of Duty campaign. I think just the main storyline took me around 22-25 hours, and that's not to mention all of the other little things you can do.

The single player is fantastic. Having the three different characters that you switch between is a breath of fresh air for the franchise.
