On Tuesday to reporters, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen referred to Chicago Sun-Times columnist and Around the Horn contributor Jay Mariotti as a derogatory name for a homosexual.

eh im not a big Mariotti fan myself, but ozzie is a classless douchebag.
but the Sun Times does own the Cubs, and im sure since Jay works for them, he isnt a sox fan, most of chicago isnt.
the cubs screw there fans over more then any organization in baseball. it is so messed up.

I doubt if the Cubs even care about winning. They get 36K butts in Wrigley every game win or lose. They could put a minor league team there and still sell out.

as long as its the "friendly confines" they dont care, its such a great city, a great place to watch baseball, great fans, but they just dont put a good team together. they have the money, and i dont want to hear the "curse" excuse, because the sox and cubs were in the same boat with that, but the sox almost always contend, except for the mid 90s, when the O's had a good team.
