I would be shocked if Mike Piazza, Jeff Bagwell, and especially Big Papi didn't use PEDs. If the Hall would say, "We don't vote for Bonds and Clemens because they are assholes," I'd appreciate the honesty.
 
My memory may be a bit cloudy.. but prior to the ability of the commissioners office to impose penalties (before 2004?), in a baseline testing protocol to establish if the problem was real by MLB, David Ortiz tested positive for an unannounced and never identified substance. Subsequent to the ability to test and impose penalties/punishment, Ortiz has never tested positive..

Just like Bonds...

I'd say during the steroid era the amount of players who didn't take stuff at least once, is in the minority, not the majority...

I always found it funny how Ortiz was a solid but unassuming player in Minnesota, then he bulks up and becomes a power bat at age 27 in Boston.
