Got the game yesterday and I like it so far. Haven't tried online yet.

For people who have XBOX One and who have gotten the game, what do you think of it so far?

Campaign is okay.

Halo's story is cool only if you read the expanded universe stuff. In game, it's dreadful. Combat is great as always. More later.

Preordered it. I only really care for multiplayer. Got into the diamond rank for slayer. Anyone want to play sometime?

Been a long time halo guy. This has been a solid game for me so far. I was a little surprised how much I liked newer modes like war zone and breakout.

Halo MP is back and it feels so good after the trash that was Halo 4 MP.

Actually enjoying the campaign now. I imagine I'm halfway through it if it's a short as I hear. Havent touched MP still, waiting to beat it first.

I loved the campaign....much better than Destiny's, in the sense that its much easier to understand the story and the gameplay is fun and the levels are different and fun.

The multiplayer (Big Team Battle in perticular)...not so much:

1- If COD, Halo, and Battlefield 2 had an illegitimate child, then this would be that child (Warzone specifically).

2- Warzone (both versions) is pretty much all I have played so far, and I really don't like it so far.

3- The speed is just too much. This is not the Halo 1, 2, 3, or even 4 that I loved. This is just too much and too fast. Now, not only do you have regular human player enemies, you have have to deal with Bot AI players when you go inside a base, then there are Big BOSS AI throughout the maps.

4- I understand the idea of creating freshness with new elements...but in my eyes the game is trying to do too many things at once and TO ME, it is overwhelming and not fun.

5- Because so much is happening, and the levels are GIGANTIC, it honestly feels like you can't really impact the game like u used to...like you are just a # that is etching away at a point total. Gone are the days that you can grab a banshee and make a comeback for your team. You will be killed out of the sky within a minute of getting in the banshee/wraith/ghost/etc...

6- It has a Pay-to-Win microtransactions system, to a degree. REQ points are needed to purchase Ghosts, and Wreiths, and Scorpions. You need to have their "cards" available to you, in-game, so you can burn the card and respawn with one of those. The problem is that you have to unlock these "Cards" permanently and you can only do that with GOLD or SILVER req packs...how do you get those...either pay or be great.
(DISCLAIMER: So far the game has only rewarded me with Bronze packs, so I assume its cause Im not good enough?)

I miss the old days of Blood Gulch...That was fun.

I don't care for war zone at all, but that's not what I got the game for.

Arena is the best competitive multiplayer halo has seen since the glory days of 2/3. When I bought the game I was extremely skeptical of the multiplayer after halo 4 and MCC, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Yes, there is sprinting and it's a little quicker paced, but there are no more loadouts, ordinance or power ups that make the game completely unbalanced. It's a little different than the halo of old, but I've had a lot of fun with it thus far.

How are people ranking in this?
