Happy Trails George Hill

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The word on Sacramento was that he was content to just jack 3's, and he was leading the league in percentage.

Once he got here, he wasn't just not hitting them he wasn't taking them. I thought it was just him deferring to LBJ, but man it is something else. Maybe he is depressed and just wants to go hunting and fishing in San Antonio.

I wish we could trade him to San Antonio. I looked at the player's salaries for the Spurs and I don't see a path to send him there.

His style of play is a horrible fit for this team. His willingness to differ to others might be a strength on a very good team but on this team it just brings out the worse in Hood and Cedi. Hill is really a 4th option kind of starter on a team that doesn't need playmaking from the PG or SG position but needs a good on ball defender.

Even though he didn't score tonight, I thought he played better with the second unit. I don't know if it will help his trade value playing with the second unit but both the starters and second unit are better off if he is just coming off the bench from now on.

He used to be so impactful. People were shocked when he was traded for a mid lottery pick. He's like a ghost out there. Wasn't able to watch as closely as usual, but I barely noticed him.

I have never seen anyone play with no expression like he does. There are great, good, bad players but they all have their own attitude and demeanor. Hill is a blank slate
There is no way he could be a good mentor for Sexton, they are polar opposites.

Sooner Hill is gone the better. Some contender will need a back-up PG at the deadline. Plus his contract is not a burden

Burks is another we should be able to move at the deadline as well for I think a good haul. He is a decent rotational player, can play multiple roles and has almost 12 million of expiring contract. Some People did not like
the Korver trade. But it is not finished

Would love to move Clarkson, again some contender will want a scorer off the bench. He only has next year on his deal.I would take bad a equal contract plus a asset or young player for him.

Ditto TT, but I am ok with him till next year's deadline

JR will have value

Want to get to the point where we are playing and developing sexton, cedi, nance, nwaba, zizic, see if dekker can be a bench player. Still have TT and Love to blend in. Also would like to see 1-2 players from canton like bonzi and blossomgame

Maybe we just saw playoff or big game Hill when we played the Pacers. By his regular season stats we are pretty much getting Hill for his career average in points with career highs in shooting percentage and 3 pt percentage.

What about shot attempts? He barely shoots

His 3 point shots attempts are down from a career 3.2 to 2.2 this season and his shot attempts are only down from 9.0 to 8.2. He only average double digits shot attempts in his one season in Utah and 3 out of 5 in Indy. I think what we are seeing is what George Hill naturally wants to do. His 3rd season in Indy is oddly similar to this seasons stats.

Wow what a trade man. That's more than you can chew...

Amazing value for Hill. No one tell the Bucks that his impact might be less than Delly. I think this was more for the flexibility the summer than Hill himself. They have to pay Bledsoe, Brogden, and Middleton in the summer.

Expert ninja job by George Hill to get out of Cleveland pretty much unscathed after missing that Game 1 free throw in the finals last year. He should send JR a gift basket for taking the attention off him.

Great trade but Hill is much better all around than Delly. Delly will be exposed in Cleveland like he was in Milwaukee because he doesn't have Lebron.

Hill is a pro's pro like Korver. He will help Milwaukee in the rotation to make a run this year while saving them money if they chose to cut him next year.

Meanwhile we pick up two meh players (yes I love Delly, but he really isn't that good) and 2 picks for taking on the extra year and giving up the only useful player in the trade (and no, not talking about Dekkar)

Hill might be better all around but he rarely showed that while here. I'm happy because we get a backup PG that won't mess with Sextons minutes and should help Sexton figure out some more set plays.

I think Hill will be in alot better position to help with the Bucks than he did with us.

Delly lost his playing time to Micheal Brogdon because Brogdon is a better version of Delly. He isn't that athletic but he is a very strong perimeter defender who is smart with the ball, and more efficient than Delly.

Delly has streaky shooting and always has, going back to St. Mary's. He got paid by Milwaukee to be a coach on the floor for a young team. That Milwaukee team already made the jump and don't need his best skillset. Now, Delly comes back to Cleveland for that role with some young players coming in. I'm thrilled with the idea of a Sexton Delly back court. As others mentioned, Delly was the Dion Whisperer when they were both rookies. He will provide spacing and set up teammates while Sexton figures it all out at the NBA level.

Delly seemed destined to return to Cleveland in my book, it was a question of when and how.
