Harden to the Nets, Cavs part of the package

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've been clamoring for this team to add a young big with potential. We haven't had an all star big since Big Z. What a move!

Boy oh boy Daryl Morey.

Philly ain't Houston and getting players to go there when youre always trying to trade them wont be nearly as easy.

And now hes likely completely fucked the locker room. Its one thing to dangle role players like Allen. Quite another with your young stars.

Big, huge mistake. Unless he has a wild plan B.

I think he still trade Simmons.

Nets are releasing some post-trade pictures from the press event...

Given the recent moves of the Cavs, are the Altman haters ever coming out of hiding?

In a few years when Kyrie is out of the league, Durant can't move anymore, and Harden weighs 300 lbs, Houston is going to have 2-3 years of picks and swaps from them that could all win the lottery.

All of these trade everything for 1 superstar deals are going to backfire hugely for the acquiring team.

Look at the Nets/Celtics deal from 10 years ago. Nets ended up in the toilet for years.

OKC, NO, and HOU are gonna benefit big time. Might not be for 4 or 5 years but the debt collector will be coming.

Not all of them. The Lakers are unlikely to regret acquiring AD. They didn’t regret acquiring Kareem back in the day either. I’d like to see the Nets and Lakers both crash and burn but they could end up playing in the finals.

As much as I like our young core and draft picks I’d trade a lot of it to get Doncic (not that we’ll get the chance).

Toronto got Kathie for a year and that worked out.

On the other hand Boston certainly regrets trading for Kyrie. A good chuck of our current roster stems directly or indirectly from that trade.

Harden, Durant and Cryie? That team has now turned into the “Titanic”! If Kyrie couldn’t handle being second fiddle to LBJ....now he’s THIRD FIDDLE to KD and Harden! And their backcourt will be a revolving door on defense with Cryie and Harden

At some point soon father time is gonna hit LeBron, or he's leaving to play with Bronny.

Without picks, there's little flexibility to build a strong contender around AD. To stay competitive, they'll have to thread the needle.

Their best bet will probably be trading AD shortly after LeBron leaves.
