Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Guy in my area makes these. A co-worker bought one, and it's great. She said that the maker refused to seal the top for whatever reason...it covered the integrity of the wood or some shit.

My question: is sealing the tabletop of a table like this something I need to do and how hard is it to do that? I'm just afraid of rings and such from cups or whatever being permanent on it.

Also, what would you pay for this?
So sealing it is incredibly easy. Do some research first before you do it (both should you and how to). But basically you just need a couple of clear coat stains that you can buy at home depot/lowes/etc.

The biggest question will be what sheen you want

edit: if you go to the pictures i posted, my bar is a different sheen than the board over the island. Even currently sitting under it I cant tell its even sealed because i went with low gloss. The bar has a high sheen gloss so it stands out a bit more. Also it has 3 or 4 coats on it knowing we were going to be putting wet glasses on it. Versus the board above the island only has 2 coats knowing it probably just needs to be wiped down occasionally.

What would you expect to pay for something like this, in your opinion? It's Dimensions: 5ft long, 38 inches wide, 31 inches tall.

For the actual table.
check craiglist/facebook market. that would be my recommendation. If this is new and you are actually buying it from the person that made it, then add a premium to it, if you are just buying it from someone looking to get rid of stuff less than 100, maybe less than 50.

It's custom made and they're asking for $600.

So Ive briefly touched on this before but I flip houses on the side and generally do most of the work myself. During COVID with no projects I convinced my wife to help me completely remodel the kitchen. The only work we didnt do was electrical, granite install, and we got an old roommate to help install cabinets as a part of partial debt payoff to us. In February when we kicked his ass out after he hadnt paid rent in well over a year (most of it was going to booze). It sucked because he was basically my best man at our wedding.

We removed the wall between the old kitchen and dining room. Relocated the plumbing that ran upstairs

removed all the old flooring (hardwood on one side and tile/linoleum on the other).

Subfloor was in terrible shape. We spent a week getting it flat

Tile work. For those that dont know. always for the love of god finish your ceiling and wall work before putting in your finished floor. Otherwise you get paint in your grout.

Always confused husky. She is not an intelligent creature. But full of energy and fluffiness.

Island is 10 ft by 3ft. The entire new kitchen is 27x12. Its dark in the background by we also put up Smart controlled curtains so we can block off our living room and turn it into a movie room.

My bar. Cherry board on top, Wormy maple in the middle, walnut on the bottom. The bottles pick to display were done so from a display perspective. all of the good stuff is in the basement, and all of the other typical drink stuff is in the cabinet below.

If you ever want a free trip to Phoenix, I have a kitchen I want to redo even though my house was built in 2007, lol.

Seems about right, honestly new furniture especially wood furniture can be acquired so cheap on places like offer up I am not sure I would buy it new. Couches I probably still buy new, but anything else no point.

As a part of the kitchen project we got rid of a bunch of things. Large leather couch in good shape had to give away... (posted it for 25 dollars and finally just told someone come and get it after 3 weeks). The old kitchen island with granite, we put up for free and had 20 people contact us in minutes, all of which were offering money. Some of this stuff just makes no sense

I paid 1800 for a custom-made farmhouse table. It's 96"x42" so use that as a baseline for size.

That did not include the chairs.

If I break it down into sq inches, mine should cost $508 compared to yours at 60x38. Throw in the chairs and bench, then that seems like a good price. Not sure if square inches is a good barometer, but there it is.

I like square inches.

I might only have a 4 inch penis, but I gave her 12 square inches. (no, my penis is not square, lol)

You have a two dimensional penis? I’ve heard of chicks being flat but never dudes.

“Hey Carla, how was the date with that Lee guy”?

”Dinner was great but the sex was pretty flat.”
