What did you think of Midsommar?I love horror movies and October really gets me in the mood for them, I’m actually watching Midsommar right now.
I do really like ghost themed movies the most, movies like The Grudge and The Ring. Sinister and Insidious are also favorites of mine.
I agree completely on The Thing being an all-timer. I also enjoy The Fly from that similar time period.

I agree with everything you said here. Not who you asked, but I absolutely hated it. It was very pretty, but I was bored out of my fucking mind the entire movie. It started out really dark and promising, but all of the characters were huge pieces of shit and so I didn't care when they inevitably met their ends.
Hereditary was a much better movie, even if I think it fell apart a bit at the end.
I liked 3.I really liked nightmare 2 was different. And would rank them in the order they came out.
Can anyone get me some shrooms or direct me on where I can get them other than horse shit? I wanna watch some of these with some shrooms in my system ffs.
Horror is my favorite genre. I’m not sure it’s worth mentioning the classics.
Of the lesser discussed movies that you guys may never have heard of, The Shining, Exorcist and Texas Chainsaw Massacre are excellent.
FRT Session 9 is one of my favorites that a lot of people seem not to have heard of. I love slow burn psychological thrillers, and it is one. If you like the idea of sneaking into insane asylums, this one is for you.
On the other end of the spectrum is Mandy. I’ve never taken acid or killed a zombie, but it’s hard not to feel like you’ve done both after watching this. Or any Nic Cage movie TBH.
Speaking of tripping, my most recent watch was Midsommar. It was fine. A hole or two, but worth a watch if you like atmospheric horror and movies designed around cults.
I’d describe it as atmospheric and heavy like The Witch and Hereditary. Similar themes. Not as heavy as those though. I felt like I was getting waterboarded with those two, which when I’m watching horror movies is exactly what I’m looking for.
I like heavy, atmospheric stuff that makes me feel like I need to pause and make sure my family hasn’t died halfway through the movie.
