How Bout dem Cowboys!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Detroit had a top 5 defense. I had no problem with the decision to punt.

As far as the egregiousness of the call, there have been worse calls. I think it was more holding than PI, but I would guess there were worse calls this past weekend.

What makes it look so bad was that they actually announced it. Had just no flag been thrown, people would've said "questionable". Had they thrown the flag, then picked up before announcing it, people would've said "bad call".

I have never seen an NFL ref announce a penalty and then just pick it up. That is what made it look so bad. And announcing a penalty before discussing it is an officiating mistake.

100% agree. no doubt contact on both sides, but wont lie i was screaming for the DPI. had it gone down with no flag thrown it would have been considered another "they missed it" calls, and everyone would have moved on. But to announce it, then later pick it up thats just asking for trouble. which ever ref made the announcement should have never changed it. you took a call which all but the most die-hard of cowboys fans would have agreed with, announcement the penalty, and then later let another member of your team change it?

The other thing I am really curious about is if one guy sees contact while the ball is in the air, why does he need another guy to confirm that, or how can another ref come in and say "no you didnt"? all of these guys are suppose to be really good (they have to earn their way into the playoffs), how is one guy so easily able to overturn another. I thought this was the whole reason that penalties arent reviewable is because they are judgement calls.

The NFL fucking sucks for reversing the incredible CATCH by Dez. Yes it was a catch but not according to the NFL. I'm by no means a cowboys but I know bullshit when I see it. Any player that makes a catch, takes a few steps and falls to the ground only to dislodge the ball shouldn't erase what was done seconds ago. Dez made a unbelievable catch from a ballsy throw by Romo.

The frozen tundra of Lambeau Field lives on. What a joke, I don't even feel like watching the Broncos-Colts game.

If the player doesnt stop the player, you can always hope the ground will. Stupid rule.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA LOL

karma is a bitch tho

Watching the play in real time, my initial thought was "that is not a catch". The ball was dislodged and bouncing around when he was on the ground. No issue with the call or rule.

Aaron Rodgers is a bad man.

It was not a catch, it hit the ground. Great effort though by Dez. The guy is a freak.

Aaron Rodgers is just incredible. I don't think I've seen a guy throw the ball that well since Dan Marino.

Just for the record, Cowboys fans, even if it WAS a catch and you scored. Was there any doubt in your mind, Rodgers wouldn't have marched down the field and won the game anyways?

When the guy stopped using his lack of mobility from the calf injury to play mind games with his performance, and just decided to play. He was unstoppable.

It hit the ground because he was diving for the goaline. That was a catch, Dez is going to be doing his best what ifs.

If Josh Gordon makes that catch, you guys are raging and throwing bottles if it's reversed. Gtfoh.

if that picked up flag PI was against dallas youd be raging and throwing bottles as well.

Doesn't matter, he never had full control. I would probably be angry too, because obviously you want the call to go your way. Either way, the Cowboys still had a chance, to stop GB, get the ball back, and they couldn't.

Don't know how a fan, without bias, can watch last week, be okay with what happen, then claim highway robbery today. Calls don't always go your way, but the reason they got beat was because Rodgers and GB shredded them to pieces in the second half.

I don't care about that shit, I care about what we just witnessed. That is a bullshit ruling and one day we'll get fucked over by that if Jerry Jones doesn't go mobster and demand a change first.

"@AdamSchefter: Never good when a rule, not a player, helps decide the game."

A lot of reporters say it's a catch. Godfather still thinks otherwise.
