How do you cook it?

I know what Keys is getting for Christmas...a round pizza sheet.

I made pizzas at Pizzaz in University Heights to pay the bills in college. Churning out pies is my form of meditation. The third pizza was going to be the photo worthy pie: butternut squash, sage, sausage, and blue cheese. We never needed the third pie.

Was Pizzaz located at Cedar and Green rd?

I loved that pizza. We've probably crossed paths. But I don't remember every seeing a Paul Walker twin in real life.

That was the one! One guy who worked the pasta station, Brian Pekarcik, went on to be considered one of the best chefs in Pittsburgh. Pizzaz was good people. They taught me how to cook and paid me for it.

Just for kicks, here's the rest of the party spread. Polynesian chicken wings, yummmm!

Because I've been craving cinnabon for the longest time-- I decided to make cinnamon roll pancakes with a cream cheese glaze.

The only thing that I'm slightly disappointed with is the lumps in the glaze. But if I took more time in smoothing it out, it would have been ok. It's a minor issue.

But the pancakes themselves-- Tremendous! The cinnamon swirl does so much for the pancakes. I also deviated from the pancake recipe and added nutmeg and vanilla, to add more flavor to the pancakes.

You just gave me a full-fledged boner..

Was it here where someone showed the cinnamon roles in the waffle iron? Cause if not, that looked like a mighty tasty little treat. Basically you just put 4 packaged rolls into a heated waffle iron and then hit it with the frosting glaze.

That looks great btw Nicky.

This was all over twitter. I prefer the pancakes, and I don't have a waffle maker. Making stuff from scratch allows you to play with the flavors moreso than out of a can. While that does look delicious, I'll stick with what I can make taste better. Yes, that is snark.

Wow. A thread that I could actually contribute to.

I'm a cook/Demi chef by profession. Working at a 5 star hotel in my country. If you guys need some help with cooking, give me a pm. I can share recipies too. But just basic ones. Mostly continental european. Can't share fancy recipies though ;)

I made these for my girlfriend and she asked me where I got the recipe from so I showed her your post. She said you're an awesome cook and you're hot, so hopefully that gives you a little pep in your step ;)

Well, thanks.
I do know that my cooking (especially baking is better than most), I don't know about the cooking of other foods, as I usually make everything for myself. I always want to top what I've made before. Maybe I should have someone else taste what I make, because I seem to be pretty confident in my abilities.

Those pancakes will make anyone compliment the shit out of someone else. My goodness, they were incredible.

What recipe did you use for the pancake mix? Box mix, or from scratch? Scratch takes a little more effort, but ends up tasting so much better.
