I Just Got a Nintendo Switch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How the fuck has no one said Breath of the Wild

one of the best games I have ever played. An absolute must
Myself and a few others suggested it. I just said Zelda. People know. Though I completely forgot they just came out with a remastered Link’s Awakening.

Nintendo is a fascinating company. They have some of the largest best selling franchises in history. Those little japs are on a whole nother level.

I will grab both Zelda games as I loved them.as a kid, but I've got a PC to game on for myself. The switch is primarily for my son and his mom or when we have company.
You’re going to be missing out some great games yourself. Mario Odyssey is honestly great. Play against your son in Super Smash Bros. Largest roster ever. Beat the shit out of him in it.

I just bought Switch with cart and Smash with two extra controllers for my son for xmas.

while i was purchasing it, he was yelling about some remote control car grammy got him for his bday and how she got him a bad gift. I talked to him about it and tried to give him what perspective I can and I don’t mean to rain on any parades...

But sometimes I get perspective what a different fucking universe our kids live in that we can just sit in this thread and buy our kids switches and games and it’s no problem. Right now there are kids digging fucking mines in other countries while our kids play these. Even here in America plenty of kids aren’t getting shit for Christmas. If they’re lucky somebody else is buying it for them.

I’m sure some of you guys grew up dirt poor, some middle class, I was upper. “Nice things” mean different things to everybody for different reasons based on how you grew up. Not our fault or anything, just crazy that my kid could say that literally while I was sitting there buying him that on amazon.

Almost made me re-think it. I say almost because he will be giving other toys of his away and volunteering for the rest of his life. No way what I heard will be what he thinks long term.

Somebody call me a nerd.

My daughter has a switch. She murders me at Mario Kart. There's too much shit in the game now, it used to be about the RACING. :chuckle:

Hey, you sound like you'd love to donate some toys for Toys for Tots! New, unwrapped. Campaign ends next weekend, so now is the time to make a great Christmas for one of the kids who otherwise wouldn't get anything.

That goes for all of you other fuckers, too.

If you don't know where to donate, just google Toys for Tots for your county.

Boxes are everywhere for that.
