Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We should've traded him last year, this summer, and this season...FOR ANY FUCKING THING WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN in return.

Good returns for Shumpert:

- 2075 2nd round pick

OR

- The best Uber driver in Portland

OR

- The lady who rides the unicycle and does the bowl-stacking routine

ANY OF THESE WOULD HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC RETURNS.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that no one wanted Shumpert. No one.

Houston didn't want to give us Beverley, but I wonder if we asked about Capella...

I think it was reported to be for their trade exception. The Cavs and Rockets couldn't agree on compensation which I assume was a draft pick.

Also remember the timing of it, it was still when the potential Melo trade was between the Cavs and Rockets. Trading Shump could have been the domino to push it into the rockets favor at least salary wise. They needed a contract almost exactly Shump's 10.5 million to complete the transaction with expirings and young players.

Honestly, could be a blessing in disguise.

Get Cedi some more burn.....the surgery isn't major, just cleaning out the knee.... let Shump rehab, showcase him for 1-2 games on his return, then trade him.

He'll still have enough value for someone to take him off our hands.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we’re playing well with this guy not on get floor

Shump was actually playing quite well, is the irony. Every time he starts playing well and you think to yourself, "alright maybe we can still use this guy or at least build his trade value", he gets injured.

If Koby can find a way to move this guy's contract he is a hero.

It'll take a team that wants him to accomplish that..and maybe that happens near the deadline.

Shump throwing up a wild backboard clinker in transition immediately after subbing into the game brought a huge smile to my face. Just vintage Shump.

I almost want to keep him around for entertainment purposes.

The Kings got a 6 minutes test run. Frye will help their spacing but boy do they regret that George Hill deal enough to take on Shumperts shorter bad deal.

And he made sure his foot was inside the three point line just in case he made it so he’d only get two points
