Indians vs White Sox

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What does their ticket sales look like compared to the Indians roughly?

Worse, more steady too. Random, but related: they have some sort of Season Pass option available to fans where you get SRO tickets to all the games for a great price.

2016
CLE- 19.7k
OAK- 18.8k
TB- 15.9k

2017
CLE- 25.2k
OAK- 18.4k
TB-15.7k

2018
CLE- 24.1k
OAK- 19.4k
TB- 14.3k

2019
CLE- 22k
OAK- 20.5k
TB- 14.7k

Frustrating, but fun, season IMO. The injuries eventually just proved to be too much to overcome. Lots to look forward to for next year, though. We should have Lindor, Ramirez, Santana and Perez as lineup fixtures along with, most likely, Mercado and Reyes. Luplow proved enough to be 1/2 of a corner OF platoon, perhaps with either Zimmer or Johnson (or Tom?). There are enough question marks and needs to make the offseason interesting and enough good young players to make spring training worth watching. Good season given the hand we were dealt.

An estimate for 2020 if the Tribe doesn't make the playoffs this year:

CLE- 20.6k
OAK- 21.5k
TB- 16.9k

The tribe is trending in the wrong direction.

I know that like the Indians, they have operated under similar budget constraints and managed to field a competitive team most years.

They’ve been to the postseason at least as much as the Indians over the past twenty years, and I might have a little recency bias because it just seems like they ALWAYS have our number, especially this year.

I’m not disparaging the Indians at all, and they easily have one of the best front offices in baseball, to go along with one of the very best managers in baseball. I don’t know if anyone else could have had a team this ravaged by injuries competing for a postseason spot in the final week of the season.

I was curious only because on of my closest friends brother is in their front office, i was legitimately asking out of curiosity for my friend's brother's reputation.

It is what it is. More tickets for those of us that want to go. Upgraded my seats already for next year (mostly because my dad can’t physically navigate his way to the upper deck anymore)

Quite possibly getting a 20 game package next year on 3rd base line. We shall see.

They're going to start using wiffle balls next year I hear.

Rather, you'll just have a net all the way around.

Nobody brings gloves anymore. They just bring their phones to take selfies then cry when they get a knuckle sammich.

I really do hope they put netting up and down each foul line.

So many unnecessary injuries over the years.

I have ZERO sympathy for anyone injured at a baseball game.

OK...maybe for the sad kid who gets killed/injured but not the dumbass parents/guardians.
