They lost on Moncada- and he might be better than all the Cubans the Dodgers signed. I could see the Yankees finally rearing back up and taking this one.

Edit: Yanks and Sox can't get him, they went over their pool I'm 2015 and have the penalty for the 2016 signing period. Oops.

Pretty sure Passan threw in the teams that couldn't get him almost as a tease to some small-market fans who think they have a chance.

He's drawn comps to Bo Jackson, this dude might break records in terms of signing bonus.

He's breaking it. He has too many 'investors' left to pay off for getting him out of Cuba. Just wonder who does- the Sox paid 64m for Moncada. Only teams I could see being able to top that would be the Dodgers, Cubs, maybe Seattle, and the Indians. Good news is that Yasiel Puig is his mentor so I expect an easy transition from poverty in Cuba to filthy rich in America.
