Hey fellow Cavs fans! This is my 1st post on here so sorry if this topic has been discussed. So, what does everyone here think about our prospects to win a ring this year? Is this a realistic possibility? I think we are one piece away from making this come to fruition. However, not gonna lie- if the stars align I can see this miracle happen. We have a very good defensive team. 2 closers in Spida and Garland. Most importantly, we are well coached and the team seems to love each other. The entire thing seems magical.

I think Mobley is the x-factor. If his game evolves into all star level this year- we have a real shot. What do you fellas think we would need to make this possible? Again- I realize this is a pretty far fetched goal- but I would love to hear your opinions. Thoughts?

It’s early, but it would appear Giannis and the Bucks are the beast of the East. There is parity and I think we are contenders. Right now the Suns look strong in the west but you can’t count the Warriors out. The west is not the juggernaut filled hell scape of yore, though, I think we are seeing a more level league recently.

So… yes. It’s not terribly likely, but if we get some luck like the 15 Dubs, who knows?

Welcome to RCF! Its the best internet sports community in existence... you'll be glad you found your way here.

Based on early returns, I don't think it would take a miracle at all. The talent is there, the only thing lacking is the experience.... but frankly with Mitchell, Love and Rubio even that really isn't an excuse. With good health, we're ready on paper as far as I'm concerned... particularly because last years tier 1 teams look beatable this year with the exception of maybe only MIL right now.

Mitchell really is that transformative for this team.... he adds a 4th quarter swagger that we lacked last year and DG looks poised to make an another jump.

The window is now.

last night made me realize the magnitude of the Spida trade & that we are a force. if you told me this was possible during the "Slug era" just a few years ago I would laugh. This is a ridiculous turn of events.

The window is now indeed.

Health is crucial. I also think they’ll need to make a trade to rearrangement the wing + role player situation a bit.

Otherwise, yes, this team should make some noise and make at least the second round.

We're for sure in contention.

Once rubio comes back we hit another level. If we can figure out how to improve the three spot, shit is ours.

funny how much LeBron would fit this spot. oh well- other options avaialble. or we just hope one of Wade or LeVert pans out.

Wades gonna be ok, I'm low on levert. He is who he is.

Don't know what assets we have but I'd like to see someone else there.
