Is it okay to like Steph Curry now ?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
After we kicked their ass tonight I hate him a bit less. Klay has gone downhill so I hate him slightly less also. Allen kicked Green in the balls so there’s less hate there as well.

Ok I’m lying. I only hate them slightly less because it’s Ravens week and I still hate that franchise, Modell, Bloody Ray Lewis, the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland more than the stinking GSW. They’re in the rear view mirror after tonight and I’m going to Costco tomorrow to stick up on extra Hatorade for next Sunday’s game.

Fuck Klay. Him falling off a cliff is a pure joy. In fact, I wish it would happen even faster. I'd kill to watch Klay waddle up and down in Washington bc no one else wanted to pay him.

I dont really get how you can hate Steph Curry. Hes an amazing player and competitor. And unlike a lot of guys, seems like a great guy and solid off the court personality. His game is not boring or ugly (looking at you kawhi) and he was a great rival for the Cavs. I really don't get it

Even Draymond is fine off the court even if his antics are actually rhe worst. Allen got us covered there tho.

Klay...yea I dont like him lol

He on my fantasy team and I hate that I picked him. I'll take his stats for this year, but will not like it.

Like everyone else, I'm thoroughly enjoying the slow demise of Dub Nation. They don't stop following the team with any trace, they fade away silently and just pay more attention to the Niners, or surfing, or the stock market.

But how do people see this Golden State core breaking up?

The fans around here are still in extreme denial. They believe they can leverage a lopsided trade and reload. We all know that's not how it works.

What Is like to see is Steph Curry forcing his way out of town to a contender, and they have to just shut up and drown in their awful Draymond and Wiggins contracts for the next several years.

Their window has closed. Their contracts are terrible. The smart move from a pure basketball perspective would be to hold onto their draft picks and trade Curry after this season for a King’s ransom, then let all of their contracts expire starting with Klay.

Hilarious that there are articles out there talking about Klay’s expiring deal as an “asset”. That’s several years out of date, and in any case that only works if the Warriors take on more contracts that don’t expire which makes even less sense for them. Th3 articles even admit that the Warriors would have to attach assets to get rid of Klay which is a dead giveaway that he’s really not much of an asset at that price.

Just wait as they trade Klay Thompson for Luka and Draymond+Wiggins for Embiid. Then the Warriors will be back

Maybe they could trade Kerr for something good?

The Warriors roster is kind of a dumpster fire. They would probably have to send out picks to dump those bad contacts. It's a miracle that anyone would take Poole's contract. Dumbass Washington :chuckle:

I definitely agree on Draymond's contract. If he looked like he did in 2021/22 with three more years to go, I would want him on the Cavs. Unfortunately his own temper tantrums give every executive all the evidence they need on how he assesses his own game: dude is falling apart.

Klay has been pouting on the floor for the past calendar year. He is a UFA at the end of the season and already turned down a very generous 48 million dollar extension. I doubt the Warriors are dumb enough to offer it again.

Chris Paul has a non-guaranteed deal for next season, that's getting declined. Gary Payton II has a player option, he should accept it. Looney has a partially guaranteed deal for next season which isn't terrible.

The problem is Wiggins and Draymond making way too much to shuffle any assets. I want Steph Curry to pull a LeBron and demand a trade, but with superstar caveats so that he is practically given away to set him up for another championship run elsewhere. That would just be the best.

Draymond and Wiggins would be HOF tank commanders

They would be drafting 10th if they still had their first round pick. An argument can be made they are tank commanders right now.

I gotta say Wiggins has the most unusual career arc. Him and Ben Simmons stand out to me as guys with a ton of talent who have underachieved the majority of the time.

Really, he looked so solid only a year or two ago and is still on the good side of thirty. Seems like he just doesn’t have the drive to be great, definitely has the talent and physical ability.

Wiggins may be the most talented role player ever. Star potential - sidekick mentality. He was the perfect fit when GS was rolling
