TO is 2nd all time in total yards and 3rd all time in total TDs at one of the most visible and important positions in the league.

The other two names at the top three in this category are Jerry Rice and Randy Moss.

This guy should have been a first ballot HoFer. And this is the second year he got snubbed.

Art Monk , Andre Reed and Tim Brown all had to wait to get into the hall of fame.

TO wasn't really expected to get in his first year because of the way he treated his teammates and coaches.

TO will get in at some point

That's a BS argument. The guy is a first ballot HoF and there's really no debate.

The people voting that way should lose their vote, as the rules for induction state that the voter only take into account the on field performance of the player.

and that's what they are taking into the account. on the field performance and behavior. football related stuff.

Dysfunction and turmoil followed TO with whatever locker room he got to. Ig we go 4 years without TO getting in then that would be a problem. in my opinion.. it just really isn't a big deal to me

IMO the best thing about sports is that you win or lose at the end of the game. We can argue if it is fair, but there is already an end and the are no ties. Hall of Fame stuff, pro bowl, all Star games are just the politics that go on to accompany the game itself.

Pete rose and Terrell Owens are still amazing players and you know it if you watched them.

Because the HoF has a bunch of asshole old fart writers that take it personal. I thought TO was a polarizing personality, but, there are a lot of players in the HoF that he's clearly better than.

Tim Brown, Andre Reed, Marvin Harrison, and Lynn Swann were all inferior receivers.

Lynn Swann is in the hall of fame only because he won 4 super bowls. That's it.

Sure, his era was different, I get that, but the guy was very good, not great.

I don't think anyone with a straight face can suggest any of those receivers are better than TO.

Been that way for a while...

Why Cris Carter wasn't a 1st ballot guy either...why people are just now starting to get pissed about it is besides me...

When will the Browns have another hall of farmer?

Equally as troubling a question.

the question is.. does Owens get in over Randy Moss or with Randy moss.
