Is the NFL in decline?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Didn't we already try two LA teams before with failure?

What the hell makes them think it's going to work this time?

No way both teams are still there in 20 years.
It's not.

It's not going to work.

TV contracts, PSL's and LA advertising is going to make it work this time. Attendance doesn't matter much anymore.

Seriously stopped watching the NFL this year. I had no idea who even won all of the playoff games until I saw the upcoming games on my FB feed. I hope the playoff tv ratings are at an all time low this year.

Browns play at the Stubhub Center in 2017. Our fans are just going to take over that little cracker box.

But who is going to support the team?

Two things to note.

1.) I'm fully prepared that these idiots are going to make a run and their idiot fanbase is going to come out in full force in the greater Northeast Ohio area.

2.) How godawful of a product is the NFL right now?

I was really thinking about that when I went to an Oklahoma State game a few days a go. Like I've been to MAC games, I've been to Big Ten, I've been to Big XII and ACC...each time it felt like there was some sort of "pageantry" to it. Even at Kent and Akron who are the epitome of bad to mediocre, there was some sort of fun atmosphere at each stadium.

It feels like even when one has absolutely no ties towards the team you're watching? It's fun to go check out the bands, traditions, tailgate and the like.

Not to mention the television aspect. Saturday's are infinity more fun. i've had days where I've had the TV on from Noon until 2:30 AM (Hawai'i) with football on.
