Isaiah Hartenstein: wowing people in Vegas

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was thinking about this. Why is it more likely Cam Reddish hits 38% from 3 when he has never done it as opposed to Cedi who did it 2 years ago but reworked his shot and had a really down year?

If you really had faith in Reddish's defense I could see it. I'm not convinced of his motor. I'd be really interested in what they want for him because he isn't very good. He had a good game in the playoffs, but so did Rodney Hood. lol

The way I look at bring in Reddish or any of these wings isn't just for 3 pt shooting. I think Cedi has a chance to bounce back and I think Reddish has a skill set that he could carve out a good role with the Cavs. I think we should want a good amount of wing depth with a diverse skill set to help match up with other teams. I think it's the bases of what alot of teams are doing in the NBA. I think there is a flexibility that comes with alot of wing depth that allows to cover for alot of weaknesses on a team.

I don't view us picking a wing over another wing for this team with the lack of depth we currently have. We could bring in Svi, Reddish, Anderson, etc and I think they would all bring something to the table that can help provide better lineups with the wings we currently have.

Anderson's on another level...he's gonna get a big payday next summer.

I think you are right, if he has the same level of opportunities and can keep his 3pt shooting up, he will definitely get paid.

I do think he is expedible for Memphis and we have the assets to possible get him, I just don't know if we have the right contract to match up.

Is there a different "Anderson" I don't know about?
He's looked way better after his shoulder surgery 2 years ago. I think he had been playing in pain for quite awhile leading up to the surgery. He was probably Memphis' 2nd or 3rd best player last season and did it on both ends of the court. He's not a star but is a solid big wing and will get paid next offseason. Assuming Beal and Lavine get max extensions by their current teams then Anderson will be one of the best unrestricted FA's available next summer.

I'm gonna have to go back and watch him again, cause nothing I've seen over the last couple seasons has been that good. Other than number of shots, nothing he did was a career high. He averaged 2ppg more than Cedi.

Think it's unlikely now. But still think IH would be a good addition. Like his old school style--he can delivery he hard screen or foul when needed. And played decent as a backup last year.

He’s not coming here now. Likely going to Brooklyn and going to help them win a championship

true. But sounds IH is more about the money than championship. Brooklyn is setting at175m+ in salaries with 17 plyers signed -don't know what they are willing to offer. Or what the Cavs can offer? Half MLE if still have left after the trade this week?

Does the Lauri trade impact what the Cavs can offer him? Are they hardcapped because of the sign and trade? If so, hopefully they can sign Hartenstein to the MLE before the trade becomes official. Tower City needs a SG.

No way they retain Hart..

Woj says he is on a training camp deal with the Clippers… looked liked he overplayed his cards in opting out… atleast he didn’t lose as much money as Schroder…

I’m surprised no one signed him to an offer for backup center. I really like his passing skills for a big man. I personally liked him over Kabengele.

Can't understand why guys like IH and a Dennis Smith Jr. would go for a train camp deals surely someone offered them more.

Clippers are a contender.. IH may believe he is good enough to make the team... if not he goes back to the other offers or plays overseas
