I was thinking about this. Why is it more likely Cam Reddish hits 38% from 3 when he has never done it as opposed to Cedi who did it 2 years ago but reworked his shot and had a really down year?
If you really had faith in Reddish's defense I could see it. I'm not convinced of his motor. I'd be really interested in what they want for him because he isn't very good. He had a good game in the playoffs, but so did Rodney Hood. lol
The way I look at bring in Reddish or any of these wings isn't just for 3 pt shooting. I think Cedi has a chance to bounce back and I think Reddish has a skill set that he could carve out a good role with the Cavs. I think we should want a good amount of wing depth with a diverse skill set to help match up with other teams. I think it's the bases of what alot of teams are doing in the NBA. I think there is a flexibility that comes with alot of wing depth that allows to cover for alot of weaknesses on a team.
I don't view us picking a wing over another wing for this team with the lack of depth we currently have. We could bring in Svi, Reddish, Anderson, etc and I think they would all bring something to the table that can help provide better lineups with the wings we currently have.
