Ok, so obviously the NBA supports the BLM, just look at the court. And sure there is a large portion of the movement that wants to "defund the police"....but what ties to Marxism, and what is really fucking terrible in the statement, how does the better treatment of blacks by our country's police destroy nuclear families. That statement alone is like bringing back up -desegregation arguments that we should have been past 50+ years ago. That statement is so racist and i honestly believe he has no clue how racist that is. This is what is really scary to me on some of the stance of the far right. They have really no clue how racist they are being.

Sad, you dont have to agree with the movement, but to say a civil liberties movement destroy's nuclear families makes it obvious how big of a piece of shit racist you really are. (not at all you NtG, just want to be clear, lol)
On the BLM website under “What We Believe,” this is one of the things listed:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

I don’t agree with what the lawmaker said, and that’s just one of the many things listed under that section, but I imagine he’s heard about that section and it’s the reason why he said what he said.

I mean, that can just as easily read "We support each other. We want to make sure children and parents are comfortable."

Feels like "disrupt" and "nuclear family structure" are just trigger words.

Thats not horrible, but i do think BLM has some issues. There is a huge double standard that goes on with them protesting as much during the pandemic and trump rallies. I hate trump, but i have said before there is a fine line between standing up for what you believe and protesting too much during a pandemic, mask wearing or not.

Some of their terminology is also purposefully extreme and misleading....just the Black Lives Matter, could be BLM...Also.....but i get it, they arent trying to be PC, but the rest of the country has to be or they face cancel culture which imo is one of the biggest plagues in the country as the Anti Cancel Culture Letter in Harper's points out. Thats a different debate, but the far left has forgot what freedom means and now only believes in freedom as long as they agree with it, like the far right.

It goes back to the guy that lost his job because he blew up in a Costco. The ACLU agrees with me even though i found most on here dont. Its really hard to defend those opinions you dont agree with, but as a proud supporter of the ACLU i will do that, most cant. I know i just turned up another point, but i see this country growing farther and farther apart as no one has freedoms anymore, everything is subject to public out lash, and if someone disagrees with....watch out...lets boycott and cancel them.

Many old school liberals agree with me, its almost like the left is now becoming their own fascist movement with cancel culture. Think about it, why do you think Jewish ACLU lawyers defended the rights of the KKK to march in Jewish Communities? Because they agreed with their statement? Think it was easy to defend the rights of pieces of shit like that? Ok. rant over, i know almost no one will agree. The right wings and left wings now have become so ingrained in their beliefs can only be the correct way, and have a public outburst? You must lose everything and be taught a lesson...how the fuck is that freedom?

Agreed, but the trigger words were used back at them by the OK lawmakers....i get their point, its not correct, but if you dont want your words used against you....dont say them.

Someone like that guy just thinks what he wants to think when he reads something like that without even considering the possibility that it could mean something other than what he thinks it means.
